We watch four middle aged men enter a down-at-heal office. They take seats around a table. Thay say nothing. One at the end coughs and asks "Shall we begin?" One to the side huffs audibly and then the opening credits rolls. How brave a start is that? Who would start a major TV serial like that these days? Ive seen "Tinker Tailor..." five times now and look forward to watching it a again. If there was a fire and I could run to save just one DVD this would be the one.

This was one of my favourite disney films when I was little and when I saw it on DVD fully restored with pristine picture quality I had to buy it. This may not be on the same terms as Lion King, Bambi, Little Mermaid and other disney classics we all know, in terms of popularity but this film has its own charm to it and is just as good as the others, with its sense of imagination, humour and positive messaging. This is a great film in its own right and for any disney fan or someone looking for a good family film it should be in your DVD collection.

Found this movie likable, but not laugh out loud funny. Still entertaining enough, but in places it was quite predictable. The lead, Jason Segel is good as the heartbroken Peter but the best thing about this movie is Russel Brand who basically stole the show. Normally i'm not a big fan of his but I thought he was brilliant here as the sex mad rock star. He definitely made this movie worth watching and he was funny at the right moments. A watchable and often funny movie worth watching for the hilarious supporting cast.

Bad acting, dull nonsense of a script, poorly paced and directed. Anyone giving this pathetic excuse for a tv programme 5 stars must have a 1 star life. Stop sitting indoors watching hour upon hour of this patronising rubbish and find some friends instead. Preferably ones who don't like this bunk.

The opening shot is of downtown New York City. Only these aren't normal buildings but towers of blocks of trash. WALL-E (voiced by beeps and Ben Burtt), our hero, is a glorified trash compactor who has made the mountains. As we follow him across the vast landscape, we learn that he is the last of his kind and that he is indeed on earth. Humans fled years ago because they bought into the commercialism of the Buy-n-Large stores that ruled the earth. The resulting garbage overran the planet. But WALL-E is not a mindless robot. He is curious and collects bits and pieces of things that are still intact. At night, he takes these to his bunker where they are on display a la Ariel. Fantastic choreography to awesome club tracks, and Deanne Berry as the instructor has trained as a professional fitness instructor - and you can tell. Her moves are simple to follow - I only missed a few beats on the very first go - and she always encourages you to keep going and "go with your options"; both higher and lower intensity workouts are clearly demonstrated either side of Deanne. The Ultimate Workout has 5 sections and runs for about an hour and a quarter in total. Each of the main middle sections are 15 minutes each; ideal if you want just a quick workout to fit around your schedule. i think all the in the night garden storys are wonderful. i have three young children and along with my husband we watch as a family. i find their way of kissing and hugging a good way to show young children love and friendship without corrupting their minds. i would much rather see those weird characters hugging and kissing than most thing we see on childrens tv. some people may find the repeating phrases annoying but it teaches children different sounds very much like the teletubbies did. my two year old son is disabled and has difficulty communicating but since he started to watch it he has been making more sounds and enjoys having them repeated back to him. also the calming voice of derek jacobi makes it a little bit grown up as he is a great actor and adults can relate ...
