This film is lovely, everytime I watch it it take me back to my childhood. Very sad, but a lovely film for all to enjoy.

This show is CLEARLY the best thing on television! Season 1 was amazing, season 2 lacked a little but still deserved 5 stars, and season 3 is simply the best! If I could give it 6 stars I would! The 3rd season includes many laughing, crying, screaming, tense, cringe-worthy moments that make this show SO enjoyable and addictive! A must have for fans!!!!

These 3 episodes are far and away the best of series four. Great writing and terrific performances. 'Silence in the Library/ Forest of the Dead' is probably the best two-parter yet. It's a tense, chilling story with twists and turns that keeps delivering surprises all the way to the end. And, for those of us who find Catherine Tate more irritating than a bag of Adipose, there's the pleasure of a virtually Donna-free episode in the form of the excellent 'Midnight'. After the Doctor leaves Donna stuffing her face with chocolates a couple of minutes into the show, she's not seen again until the very end. Bliss!

This is yet another DVD that I bought to fill out my collection (mostly because I already own all the other CSI boxsets) and yet again I wasn't disappointed. This set includes some of the best episodes so far in the CSI history, although sometimes it does focus slightly too much on the minor characters. Having said that, it has made me appreciate Hodges and his sarcasm that little bit more...

I've just finished watching all five series over the course of about a month. The tragedy of the 'Yes Prime Minister' episodes was that while Eddington and Hawthorne's acting just got better and better, the writing plateau-ed, and conceivably declined. Whole speeches get repeated -- e.g. "The Morning Star is for people who believe another country should run this country ..." -- but of course, these were written pre-video, so the writers' assumption must have been that, over an interval of nine years, people simply wouldn't notice the repetition. Tedious re-working of "need-to-know" convolutions crop up repeatedly, right to the final episode. But the jewel of the series -- the relationship between 'Humpy' and Hacker -- just sparkles brighter. ... Read More:

What age is this extraordinary programme aimed at, I wonder ? Some of the reviews indicate that older children of 5 or 6 love it, as well as pre-schoolers (at which it is aimed) and adults. Ben Bold has his own agenda which made me smile...see his review. All I can say is that it has a particular quality of excellence that you associate with something of timeless appeal. My 2 year old grandson, his father and mother and I all watch in a state of almost helpless fascination. It is calming, very surreal, mysterious almost zen-like. Maybe, in the Night Garden, we all return to the old Garden from where we all came.........

If you are interested in India or Indian history, or if you like Passage to India, you will love this. The atmosphere and historical feel is terrific. Credit for the subtle story, in which the characters are complex with complex flaws, goes mostly to the author but also to the film for resisting the temptation to dumb it down. But the best thing is surely the acting. I often watch a film and feel that one or two parts are perfectly played and the others are indifferent. In Jewel in the Crown I had that feeling with virtually all, if not all, the important parts. I particularly liked Tim Piggot Smith who was unsympathetic at first but by the end was almost a tragihero.

continuing on from the climatic ending to season 1 with bones adjusting to the news that her family is not what it is and repairing her relationship with her brother. a new face arrives at the jeffersonian to ruffle some feathers and 2 of the gang find love over the bones!!!! left at the end of the season with a great cliffhanger, will they or wont they???? lots of great guest stars, stephen fry for us brits!!
