After finally convincing my brother to watch an episode of Family Guy, infuriatingly it turned out to be this one. It's really not up to the standard I've come to expect of the series' writers, it was pretty lame, really, obviously written by Star Wars fans for Star Wars fans. Now he refuses to watch it at all and thinks I'm daft for liking it. Crud.

This is a brilliant film, up there with his "Pan's Labyrinth" and even better than "Devil's Backbone" which it in some ways resembles - a ghost story involving a children's home. A film about the fierce love between parent and child, which transcends death. I loved the bittersweet ending. It is not a horror film, so if you like horror movies, choose something else.

I was extremely disappointed with this BBC adaptation of the Hardy classic. It was unrelentingly grim and despairing and I found the characterisation of Angel Clare very unconvincing.

For a truly special portrayal of Tess of the D'urbervilles you should look no further than the 1998 television production starring Justine Waddell in the title role. It brings the 'Wessex' countryside of the 19th century to life in a way I have never seen before and it is a truly moving experience.

One tree hill is a fantastic TV show with basketball, relationships and it is full of surprises! You will love it at any age and it is impossible to stop watching...the only thing that stopped me was my own exhaustion!

With this series we are fresh off the regeneration from the previous Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston and now David Tennant has a lot to live up to; he does it and he does it with style. Billie Piper comes back as the magical Rose Tyler and we are given a series where she not only has to handle the notion of a different looking Doctor, but she has to handle the fact that she's falling in love with him and we're given hints that he's falling in love with Rose.

Episode 1: New Earth: In the year 5 Billion and 23 the Doctor takes Rose to the new home of the human race, simply called New Earth and he takes her to the aptly named New New York. There the Doctor meets up with an old friend the Face of Boe but he stumbles upon a secret in the hospital basement, ... Read More:

The perfect film for people who love being in love and don't care about the reality of love or relationships. For the rest of us, it's a graceless, unsubtle and predictable nightmare full of stereotypes aimed purely at the American market. Unless you're my mum, avoid.

I agree with Potus. What makes OTH5 most interesting by far is the NAley story and Dan's second chance with Naley's son Jamie. That's why I kept watching tuning in weekly online, to see how the whole psycho nanny story would unwind. Don't want to give any soilers to anyone, so if you don't want to know anythign about season 6- pleade don't read on. But, the nany story continues, and we get the brilliant nanny debs back knocking out the psycho nanny, and then crazy/ forgiveable? Dan killing the psycho nanny in the end. But that episode had me on tentahooks! It was brilliant! A real Naley family dilemma. As for the rest of OTH- Skills is definietly not use enough- his storyline with debs is very interesting and funny- but could be developed more. I don't get why brook is in most episodes ... Family Guy created by Seth MacFarlane is an animated television show which is based in the fictional town of Quahog. The show follows the Griffin family comprising of Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and their dog Brian. Not to forget a whole host of neighbours that live along side them on Spooner Street.

I was very eager to watch the fifth season of Family Guy after the brilliant forth season (of which I've still to review, but I never seem to review anything in order these days.) But unfortunately I feel that this is the weakest link of the Family Guy Saga. They say things get better with age but perhaps this is Family Guys midlife crisis, where the episodes are simply not at their best. The comedy formula is a difficult one to get right, but up until Seth MacFarlane and his ... Read More:

This is a stunning series, taking the viewer all around the British Isles and invoking not just the stunning and often wild imagery but the art, poetry and wildlife that was insired by it and also providing a good deal of information about those who created it.
David Dimbleby is a terrific presenter, relaxed, erudite, nuanced and clearly enjoying himself. I also have the equally brilliant How We Built Britain and only hope Mr Dimbleby puts more time and effort into further projects such as these.
