Very complex plot - Think it would have been diffcult to enjoy if I had had to wait a week between each episode. Fantastic acting and so many very dark charactors.

The use of broken time lines and fractured story telling is amazing - you think you know the end at the begining but you don't and no matter how many jumps back and foreward in time the director takes you on you are constantly supprised at how the threads come together.

Buy it - Open a bottle of wine and get through as many episodes in one go as you can - this is the perfect "Lost weekend" box set

Despite the criticisms voiced over this series, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Sure there are times you think 'What, not again'. As CTU's security is compromised again. As another director of CTU is removed. Despite this, the 24 factor is still there and each episode ends with a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.
The new characters introduced play there roles well and there are enough unexpected twist and turns to keep you interested.
I'm off to get series 7. What better recommendation is there?

About 10 minutes into the first episode I could not believe that this was made in Hollywierd. Intelligent, beautifully written, good characterization, Excellent (if limited, characters "grow" very little, like life really!) acting, witty, ironic (something most Americans can't understand or believe is unpatriotic) literate without being preachy, sometimes erotic, often very sick and twisted, I can't recommend this highly enough. Even the teenage daughter is a delight to watch! Clever characters do stupid things for real reasons without you thinking it's out of character. Despite their flaws these people become real to you, I ended up caring about them, groaning as Hank does yet another really dumb thing thinking this might make him happy, smiling ... Read More:

Finally, a romantic comedy that breaks the boundaries of clichéd romantic flicks and has enjoyable characters, a plot that is exciting, mysterious and funny and with plenty of twists to justify the genre that is often slated for it's predictability.

Ryan Reynolds (Just Friends) stars as Will Hayes, a middle aged man who is coming close to a divorce and when his daughter asks about her mother, Will takes a look back at the past years of his life.

Don't judge the film by the trailer because there is so much more on offer. Though the trailer for the film would give a sense of predictability and humour, the film was a delightful surprise with its great precise dialogue and dramatic scenarios, giving an account of true realism, ... Read More:

I loved Life on Mars! Its one of the best tv programmes of recent years.
And Im not sure making a spin-off from it was the best way to go.
I liked that the end of LOM left you in a bit of confusment, what was a dream? What wasn't? However when you see this, what really was a dream is pretty clear (unless series 2 suprise the hell out of me)and I didnt want to know what!

Ashes to Ashes isnt bad. I still love to watch DI Hunt (Philip Glenister is a brilliant actor) and some stories were great but I have trouble with Alex.....Keeley Hawes is good but I cant decide how I feel about her character. She's a bit annoying and not in a funny way. It's what make this show hard to review....I loved Sam and I loved watching him and the other ... Read More:

and you did it by belief and thought alone, then hooray, we can all believe in The Secret!
It states in the product overview that: "This is The Secret to everything - the secret to unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love, youth: everything you have ever wanted." !!! Well...
All I'm asking is, why are the believers of The Secret so silent when it comes to questions like why can't old people make themselves young again by the power of thought? Most people in the world want to reverse aging, yet where are the eighty year old believers in The Secret who look eighteen instead of eighty?
I've seen the argument that it can't be done because it's not _meant_ to be done. But The Secret states that one can achieve _anything_ that one wants! And most people ... Read More:

The Only other successful Re-Imagining of a Classic Show other than this is DOCTOR WHO. But BATTLESTAR GALACTICA has done well as a sci-fi drama kicking the original out of the Galaxy.

A True Representation of Television made good.
When I first heard of it i thought "Yet again, They'll screw it up." But the New version grabbed me from the Pre Title on the Miniseries right until the Cliffhanger. starting on the First Season Currently then moving on to seasons 2 & 3 (Already Seen RAZOR - Not a Bad Film).

some of the many things this version has over the original is the fact that the Galactica is a ship that was meant to be put in mothballs. The shocks that are through the whole story. But the thing I love most is the Blake's 7-esque feel to it: ... Read More:

Basically its just like a normal episode, but longer, with, I thought, rather too many enemies to vanguish in one go. Being a big fan of the series, I watched every single episode ever, some of of them are very good and I watched them a few times. As a movie though, I didn't feel it was worth watching twice, you could watch it once though and it still is a lot better than a plenty of movies out there. However, I did feel the whole thing was simply put together for the money. which is fair enough I suppose, but should not be that obvious. Make me feel I bought a movie with something to say! Unfortunately - it did not.
