I have used this DVD and others to teach our 6-11 year olds about the Parables of Jesus and they have enjoyed watching the stories. as other reviewer explains, there are no tractors as shown on cover, also you should be aware that its 30 mins of essentially the same footage repeated throughout with a few exceptions. additionally its accompanied by alot of techno europop singing and really isnt educational. but, if you only pay a pound or 2 it'd be worth it if you have a nipper who likes diggers!

Firstly, my 4 year old does request to watch this DVD, and I notice she has picked up some of the words. She doesn't watch it all the way through now (she did the first few times), so she's very good at the French introduced in the first half! So it can't be 'too bad' - BUT: I thought this DVD was pretty basic. Essentially it is just a long list of vocabulary accompanied by poor animation and voiceovers. I was really surprised at the lack of quality - and have only kept it as the price was so good (would never pay the full price for it!). There's no fluency at all, just words - but I suppose the viewer hears a real French accent, which young children pick up well. I think very small children and upwards ... Read More:

A lot of kids programs operate on two levels, with something for the adults as well as something for the kids. Unfortunately, Numberjacks isn't one of them. Adults can guess what burger bar the actors are currently flipping burgers in, but other than that, it is strictly for the kids. And boy, do they love it. This is the fourth Numberjack DVD, and to an adult, it is exactly the same as all the other three, but in a different box. My kids tell a different tale though, and if it keeps them quiet on a rainy saturday afternoon, what do I care? Numberjacks are on their wayyyyyyyy.

This is a brilliant adventure for little children who love the tweenies. My two year old loves it and since being able to use the dvd machine herself, has worn out this disc. Full of songs and new characters, it will keep your little ones amused so that you don't have to. 5 stars.

My daughter (aged 3) loves this DVD. From the instant it made its first appearance she has loved it. She joins in with the songs and she always talks about it. She has learnt alot in the first few days.

It may appear cheaper than the rest but there is a reason. No song is sung all the way through it jumps from song to song - in my opinion encourages the child to be hyper. Will not allow my daughter to watch it.
