The reason I liked this DVD for my daughter is that it has many images for each letter. The DVD shows real animals like a dog, ducks, sheep, a rhino, lion and a tiger. My daughter enjoyed the animal clips. She liked the whole dvd. The music is classical. This is an educational DVD, concentrating mainly on introducing young children to many words, spellings and objects. My daughter was engrossed in it. So we liked it!! I like it more than Baby Einstein.

We are big Barney fans, however for some reason my little one who loves games or anything that has to do with a rolling ball just didn't seem interested in this DVD. She never asks to see it as she does with most others. It just didn't hold her attention.

After viewing this with a train enthusiast 3 yr old and being very disappointed,I think in retrospect that the "2" in "ready 2 learn" must be the age this is directed towards. A vast amount of repeated photography which became frustrating and monotonous..even for a 3 yr old.The songs droned on in a whispy squeaky way,adding nothing. Not enough emphasis on different types of TRAINS and I'm sure even 2 yr olds are not interested in confusing reflections of underground trains.
