Finally out on DVD in the UK, this season of Little House on the Prairie is a pleasure to have in my DVD collection! Yes, there are no special features and the picture quality isn't perfect, but I for one believe that the sound quality on this season is far better than in season 1 and 2! All in all I have no regrets in purchasing this item and look forward to rewatching these classic episodes many times.

One of the better Disney movies released at the price which i got it for (£7) it was a MUST BUY i think its a great adaptation of the original story of hercules with great music and hilarious scenes worth considering!

I grew up watching the original film so I expected not to like this version as much but I actually prefer it. It's a lot darker than the original film and I found it very amusing. I wasn't so impressed with all the added parts about Willy Wonka's father but apart from that it was all good. I think it's one of those films that's just as good for adults as it is for children. And of course it has Johnny Depp in it, which is a great bonus!

I vaugley remembered loving this as a child so bought it for my son when he was 16mth. Was very impressed it's even better than I remember. Bright, good old fashioned stories with great puppetry, my son loved it (still does at 20mths, put it in the DVD himself). I also quite enjoy watching it (how sad am I!!!)

I got this film because it looked like a comedy on the front cover and i like comedy films and yes' it was very funny not rude just a nice and funny comedy. its adout a man looking for his father but on the way meets some snow dogs. A great film for all the family. A kid who lives next door to me said he had seen funner but i think he needs to get a since of humour because i think this is great. So if you like a film with good comedy buy this.

I was very excited when I saw this old childhood favourite released on DVD. Sadly it now looks very dated. The picture quality is not great and I got bored before one episode. However the sound quality is good and I still enjoyed the theme tune. Strange when I was a kid I assumed Bod was a girl, only when I watched the DVD over 30 years later do I find he is a boy!!! I have bought a few old favourites to share with my kids. Unfortunately Bod has lost its appeal. I wouldn't recommend buying this one, perhaps borrow it as I could not face watching even a full episode let alone the whole thing. This one will spoil your nostalgic memories. I had a much better experience with the 'Trumpton' DVD it still holds its charm.

I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year. My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie. When Scrooge wakes up on christmas morning, takes a walk around saying merry christmas to everyone, and in the end where he delivers lots of gifts and food for poor Bob`s family, it`s awesome... :) I`m not that big a fan of the build-up around these short movies, mixing the new clubhouse stuff with old classics, but that`s such a tiny, tiny little piece of this, and it`s not THAT bad. "Pluto`s christmas tree" and "The Nutcracker" are also great classics. I think your inner child has to be well dead and buried ;) if you don`t like them just a little bit... Read More:

I don't remember the TV series as a child, but I knew they existed and after having got back into the Narnia series around the time of the first movie I wanted to see what they were like. The first impressions are that they are very faithful to the books- almost every aspect is just as you'd expect from the book. It obviously attracts criticism because of the age of it- the effects, costumes etc are very obviously outdated now, but despite this it holds up in general. Aslan is very well done- the main problem with him is the mouth movement, he's actually better done than I expected him to be! Saw this in the theatre and wasn't all that thrilled - okay but not fantastic. On DVD it's a bit better (and much cheaper than taking four children to see it!). The animation is as good as others in it's class, the characters are well voiced and pretty cute and there were several "hidden" things to see if you were paying attention. The head of the homeowners association was a bit over the top and like another reviewer I found it stupid to put in a full grown hedge that wasn't there last fall not to mention a 40 acre subdivision. The "suburbs are evil" message was way overdone for my taste as well. Talk about indoctrinating kids from a young age. All I can say is WOW! this is one of the best films I have ever seen, none stop comedy from start to finish, especially in the character of clueless Morgan. The whole muppet cat is magnificent. From this film I feel i have learn't a valuable lesson: the best thing about being a pirate is you don't have to wear a suit.
