Sorry about the pun, but this is without doubt a smash hit. It is quite insperational and should bring many a soul to the arts in general. Brilliant and at time breathtaking in the IMAX format.

After several 'hit and miss' tries with different yoga programs on DVD I have finally found 'the one' and I will stick with it. Whenever Nicki Doane is ready to come out with her next set of lessons I will be eagerly waiting. In the meantime this will be part of my daily routine. She not only obviously has the stamina to carry you through all the steps and doesn't just tell you to do repetitions-she does them with you which, along with her wonderful voice, keeps you going. Her interview is lovely as well, gently inspiring and completely natural..a good sense of humor.

Rented this DVD Xmas 2007, bought it a week later as my 18 year old agreed that it was a fab DVD, well structured, really motivating fitness instructor, invigorating soundtrack, exercise routines perfectly timed to push you just to the limit. Jordan's great because she's so down to earth - moaning when the routine becomes fairly strenuous - leaving the slightly harder routines to the instructor while she demonstrates the easier versions. A year later and still using this DVD. It's a fantastic workout which you benefit from immediately. Far cheaper and more entertaining than the gym with a brilliant personal trainer. Very highly recommend and can't wait for a sequel!

This was a snorefest from the start. Her trainer has no personality and they have no rapport. Rebecca looks like this is the first time she has done the workout and there is no witty repartee between them. The pace is incredibly easy and would suit, overweight,unfit,pregnant or disabled people but it is so boring and rpetitive that I wouldn't even bother.

I have found this particular Barbara Currie dvd a real gem, I have also used 'Total Body Plan' and the 'Seven Secrets of Yoga' but prefer the sequences in this dvd. They are neatly compacted into 20ish minute slots and are linked by what they do for your body and well being. I have to confess I am a fan of Barbara! I have been practising yoga with her dvds for four years now and it has undoubtedly benefitted my life, making me feel calmer and more at ease. I have never strained or pulled a muscle and have instead made slow and steady progress and I would definitely recommend it!

I got this workout DVD on a recommendation from a friend. I can see how you might get results if you stuck to it, but I like my excercise to feel like excercise and this is really just too slow. Also living in a flat, there are some parts which it isn't practical to do for fear of disturbing the neighbours. I can see how it would work for some people, but I think I'll stick to the gym.

I expected more from this after reading the 2 other reviews. It didn't show me any of the basic steps I am learning at a class - just a lot of walking! I particularly needed help with the crossover in the ocho which was mentioned - but not taught!!

I wanted to buy a DVD that was targeting ABS because I wanted something extra to supplement my gym routine, something I can do at home just for my stomach and this was my first choice. I was not sure if Ana Caban will be my type but her name was strongly recommended by a friend who does yoga and pilates regularly and so I decided to try. What a great choice! I must say one of the best work outs ever BUT if you are a beginner you will not be able to do even half the things she does. She has an assistant who does the easier versions of the exercises which is great but I did struggle for a while to keep up and also to be able to do every single one of them. If you really want to target that stomach fat it is a must have DVD!

I can't say enough good things about this DVD, the sequences, music and level of instruction work so well together. I would recommend that if you want to get the most out of the yin sequence to buy a yoga bolster, as you would get far more out of the practice than using a rolled up blanket.
