This is the only workout (DVD or otherwise) that I actually WANT to do. My neighbours must think I'm crazy, because I do this all the time, even first thing on Sunday mornings. The routine is easy to master, Rosemary is an excellent instructor, and you can adjust it to your own pace - let's face it, some days you have too much energy, and other days you just want to take it easy. I find that I have to supplement the abs and lower back section with workouts from the Perfect Abs DVD, but then this is my problem area. This is a no-frills back-to-basics workout, and if I haven't been particularly healthy in my food choices, I know that Rosemary will save the day. I think the presenters are very good, clear, personable and demonstrate well. There are some basic errors in editing - eg in the Quickstep Introduction, you are asked to listen and count to Quickstep music and they play a Rhumba! The presenters show identical steps for Quickstep and Social Foxtrot and there is so little content. I also think the choice of steps could be better targetted at getting round a dance floor. There are slightly more steps in the Latin DVD which is a bit better. The preview shown of the next DVD looks much better and this will probably not deter me from buying that.

Cindy Crawford: The Next Challenge Workout [1993] I was overjoyed when I found this was available on DVD. It is my favourite workout video, no other workouts have quite met this standard and it appears to have stood the test of time. Its a hard workout but well worth the effort. The scenery and music is outstanding throughout and Cindy doesn't bother you with mindless chatter. She simply tells you what you need to know to do the exercise. The cardio/legs section at the start is hard work but fun and suggestions are made for slighty easier exercises. There is a lot of work on the abs and a great weight section for both chest and arms. I agree with others that this is a good workout and that the poses are well explained etc. I do find the instructors somewhat annoying - particularly Louisa. Louisa has this irritating habit whereby she makes a tut-like sound between each sentence and I find this, personally, extremely offputting. The instructors rarely smile and there appears to be a show-off quality to how they present themselves. This would be a fabulous production, if it were not for these issues. Hence, I have given the DVD 4 stars - based upon the workout alone.

Absolutely awful. Small fishtank is filmed with irritating sound. I was thinking it would be similar to aquavision from sky, which is fish in the indian ocean. It is now a coffee mat.

I got this, expecting more of a workout than a bellydance routine, and that's what it is. It's fun, as a workout, but I do have a few gripes, particularly as those who don't exercise and / or bellydance previously may find themselves at sea (or worse, at risk!) 1. How to do belly dance moves isn't really explained, and being fairly new to it, I spent some time working out which knee should be straight, which bent 2. In the toning and conditioning sections, they rarely tell you which muscles you should be feeling the effort in, and sometime only give you a rep or two beforemoving on 3. I must admit I was dubious about buying this DVD even with the fantastic reviews I had read, however now I have the DVD, it's fantastic. I've found that billy is really motivating which is unusual for a DVD as normally they just iritate me. Also the extras who are also doing the routine all seem to be having great fun - a great workout too but they're enjoying it too which insires you to keep going. It's tough to start with but if you keep at this one your'll deffinitly reap the rewards. My advice... if in doubt about this one, buy it anyway as I think you'll enjoy the fantastic and fun workout

This dvd is a great workout for anyone, mobile or not. Leanne made this dvd after not finding any workouts she was able to physically do, having one leg, which I fully understand as I have, in the past tried many a time to find a suitable workout for myself. I have 2 legs, but limited use in them, and my balance is very poor, so the usual workouts of lunges, star jumps are no good to me, this dvd doesn't involve any of these, it is what it says, a workout sitting in the chair, not only is it good physically, but mentally too as it has a real 'feel good' factor to it. The girls working with her are great and the hole thing has a cheery and friendly feel about it. You can do as much or as little as you feel suits you.
