I have been using this dvd for a week now and really love it. I have a relatively low level of fitness after gaining weight, and taking a year off from hockey. I do other dvds such as Davinas and love them, but was looking for a change and something to give me a bit of fitness before getting back to hockey. I really like the fact that this dvd has nutritional advice and a 6 week fitness plan. The plan really helps me fit the exercise into my routine, I know what is planned for the week ahead and can be organised about fitting it in. I have had a gym ball for a while now but didn't have a clue how to use it. This dvd Shows you how to use the ball before going into the workout so you can practice moving on it until you feel comfortable. The workout is easy to follow and I felt Lucy explained everything really well, the fact you are also shown advanced moves means you will use it for longer as you progress. The biggest thing I like about this dvd though is the fact she doesn't feel the need to fill every second with the sound of her own voice!! I have purchased another of Lucy's dvds on the strength of this and have not been disappointed.

I first watched this dvd and felt that it was too hurried but after practising with it a few times, I found the pace perfect. I really enjoy doing this routine as the poses are quite standard but are also held for a few breaths. I also like Kisen's positive encouragement and safety tips. This dvd is not for beginners really but if you do find it too much at first, don't give up on it as we improve with each practice and it will come eventually.

When I first watched this I thought it was too touchy feely for me but after trying another postnatal exercise videon (deborah machin) I came back to this one, the 15 minute workouts are just the right length to manage daily, surprisingly challenging and her style is very supportive and encouraging.

Not for the faint hearted or beginners. This is a really fabulous 2 disc dvd, that will really get you working. The first cardio disc is c35 mins which in a short time gives you an excellent workout, broken down into upper body, lower body, core and total body workouts (thus working your arms, abs, thighs and bottom). It raises your heart rate so expect to end up hot and sweaty. The 2nd disc is c50 mins, broken down into 2 upper body, 2 lower body, 2 core and 1 total body workouts - again lots of cardio, boxing and kick boxing moves. Even by the next day you notice an improvement to your body. Billy Blanks is full of his usual energy which is addictive. I have been line dancing for a few years so was intrigued by the cover of this DVD as it challenges the misconceptions that line dancing is all about cowboys and country and western. Yes, there is country and western but Lynne makes it look cool, and there is also contemporary, which gives line dancing a modern edge. Lynne's style is encouraging and you feel she is talking just to you. Her teaching is excellent in its clarity; steps are taught in short blocks that are graduallly put together to create the main frame of the dance, which makes it easier to learn from. I enjoyed the different sorts of music and the energy created by the dancers. Very well thought out and a true reflection of line dancing today.

I had a baby 6 weeks ago and really wanted to ease back into exercise and shift some post-baby weight. The whole work out takes approximately 1 hour but it is split into several different sections (Warm-up, Cardio vascular, Upper body toning, Standing stretch, Lower body toning, Floor stretch, Abs, Cool down) so if you dont have enough time to do the whole dvd you can pick and choose which areas you want to work on. Having not exercised regularly for many years now, I found this workout easy to follow and really enjoyable, I will definitely be sticking at it.
