I bought this in 2003 on VHS when I was in my last year of high school, I felt my figure had become a little 'podgy' and wanted to tone up. Having never 'toned up' before, I didn't know what to expect, or how to expect my figure to look! The first time I did it, I was aching, sweating, pouring water over my face. After a month of doing it 2-3 times a week I'd dropped a dress size and had amazing definition to my figure that I never knew possible. It really does work! I received this as my first 10 minute solution dvd on saturday, I have since done 3 of the 5 sections and it is inspired. What a great idea, you just do 10 minutes when you can, I even did a quick 10 minutes before work this morning! I just do 10 minutes as and when I can, before you know it you have done 30 minutes abs alone throughout the day. It makes you want to do just one more each time as you have just started and it's finished, great! Really good exercises and I can certainly feel it. Well put together and it will be staying in my dvd player for sure. I have bought 10 minute solutions Pilates too and I will be certainly buying more of these dvd's. Fantastic.

This workout states that it is for beginners to intermediates. I would say that it is that, but does challenge your muscles in every way. The programme lasts about 40 mins and in that time Meredith takes you through a quick warmup, then a sequence of exercises. I do get a slight sweat performing these. Some of the exercises are challenging, but I do feel that I've worked them afterwards. The exercises do target what the dvd specifies which is good, as many dvd's don't do what they say. Would highly recommend it.

I have just started pilates again due to my back condition. This dvd is around 40 mins long and works the whole body. I really enjoyed doing the workout. At times it was a bit fast, so you really need to grasp the basics before starting on the main workout. Merredith is a good instructor who works with two people showing you how to perform the exercises. There is a basics section which I recommend you go through first, because it shows you how to breathe properly, hold your stomach in etc. Did not give it 5 stars because of how fast it felt at times, but would highly recommend it.

I opted for this as I was looking for something I could dip in and out of but was very disappointed. As a previous reviewer said, the abs section provides a perfect example of why this DVD wasn't for me. The instructor spent ages talking through technique but then you were expected to do the reps without the DVD. In general, I'd have found it more helpful to have a seperate technique section and then do the workout part "together", so to speak. I also didn't feel it offered enough challenge. Afraid it's off to the charity shop for my copy!
