I have been researching Tai Chi and its many forms for a while trying to find which would be the best and most suited to me as I suffer from lack of concentration and find it very difficult to relax. I have tried many DVD's and found Rupert's to be the most informative, relaxing, easy to follow plus it manages to keep your attention through all chapters. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering this art form FANTASTIC

I really liked the workout. It gets you pumping and sweating, I consider my self fit/can run 10kms in 40 minutes, etc, giving a very good total body workout and increases your energy levels unlike a long run. I'd recommend this workout to all people that want to be seriously involved in a serious fast paced workout!

I really enjoyed doing this, as there was no pink leotards or skinny women to make you feel crap about yourself, I liked the lack of cheesey music and harvey's rantings. Most keep fit dvd's usually drive me to drink and crisps after about a week, but i think this one could do the trick. If like me, you need to get your BMI down to under 25, before something dreadful happens, then this combined with a sensible eating plan should certainly help. There is lots of jumping around, so an industrial sports bra is an essential!

This excellent dance instruction DVD starts with a terrific warm-up, that centers on isolations and stretches. In order to do all the stretches full-out, you'd have to be quite limber, but you can do them at your own level, and still get a lot out of it. This warm-up section is good even if you don't want to continue on to the dance routines, as it makes a great morning "wake-up" as well as a relaxing way to get the tension out of your body after a hard day. Loose pants and a soft stretchy top, with sneakers, is what Laya Barak, and her 2 assistants, Jonathan Lee and Eleonora Barbacini are wearing, and the presentation is well done, with simple lighting and camera angles enabling you to see what is being demonstrated clearly. I've seen the majority of the beginner DVDs on the market and I have to say this is the best of the lot. The DVD itself is highly organised into sections so you can find the different moves if you want to look at one particular one. It also has a drills section where you can practice them over and over to your hearts content. I found the teaching and explanations to be very clear. Filmed in front of a mirror so you can see the front and behind it doesn't focus on her top or feet but gives a view of all. The moves chosen are appropriate for beginners. I don't mind that there is no choreography on the DVD, in fact I think it is better as it puts the focus on learning and perfecting these moves rather than jumping into ... Read More:

good intructions, talks you through every move, shows the move several times slow and fast tips to every move, writen out safety tips are given after every move overall the intrsuctions and moves are wonderfully explained so that it should be possible for everyone to perform the moves correct and savely. however as with all advanced moves training is the key minor flaws: the most anoying background musik in the history of ever menu handling not ideal as you don't get a section where you can choose to view any individul move, it's just not well sectioned of. and as with every poledance DVD the way theybuild up from 'easy' to 'difficult' is not always true i find, as everyone is diffrent and some moves might be easier ... got this last year and its really good, gaynor looks great and easy to follow, instructor a bit annoying but u cant have it all!
