A personal look into the life of Cristiano Ronaldo from his childhood beginnings to his position as one of the greatest footballers of the world. Its a story about him growing up but in terms of football theres not much there. Its like an biography - so if you want to know more about him then this is for you. If you just want to watch it for his skills and highlights of actual football then i would give it a miss. I wanted to see highlights of his games, his tricks, and moves etc. I was disappointed.

what a game, what a day. i am one of the lucky fans who saw the game from pitch side and will never forget it. now everyone can own the memory. if there are any spurs fans who dont own this dvd then its about time they did. an absolute must buy....

It's hard to fully appreciate a club if you don't know the full history the ups and the downs and the players who built the club into the 5 times winners they are today. This Dvd has it covered, some amazing football with comments from past players and interviews. It has it all covered and is great value for money. The packaging is great and the main feature alone is 3 hours. You can pick an individual era or watch it all at once. Some of the football is truly breathtaking and you can see the players of the 70's 80's could match the quality of Ronaldo or Gerard today. An absolute must for any Liverpool fan. Enjoy YNWA

After reading the other reviews I decided to buy this dvd for £2.99. Even at that price, this was a waste of my money and a waste of an hour of my life. Any "funny" clips on the DVD, I had seen before, and they werent even funny then. I found myself breathing a sigh of relief when the credits came at the end of this dvd and binned the dvd so that no one else need suffer. I'll be honest, I neither like or dislike ricky tomlinson but theres only so much mileage that he can get out of the "Jim Royal" character. I think I'd have liked this dvd slightly better if he had just narrated it instead of wearing various (too small) football tops. This is absolutely essential viewing. If you love football this gives new depth and you will have renewed respect for the beautiful game. Knowing the history of this game is a must and this boxset is the easiest way to find that history.

A wonderful dvd. As a Man Utd fan, I'd heard about George Best but never seen any footage of him playing. All I knew was the world of Giggs, Ronaldo and so on. I'm really glad I ordered this because now I know what all the fuss was about. What a genius!

I'm not old enough to remember the 1966 World Cup Final but sure I've heard about it but I never saw the match full. So I got this DVD and, although it doesn't have the entire match (40 minutes or so is missing), it does show you what a great day that day was. The entire programme is digitally remastered and it looks as if it could have been watching the programmes first ever airing, it is so clear, the picture. The extra are good though not always the best. The audio commentary is amazing as Jack Charlton amongst others explain what was happening during the match and their experiences of it. The documentary gives some good insight in the 1966 World Cup and the interviews, with the late Kenneth Wolstenholme and Bobby Moore's wife, are interesting. ... Read More:
