If there is one horror film you should buy this year it should be frontiers, havnt watched a horror film like this in a while! there is some decent gore and a great plot and some great eery locations, i definatly agree with the other reviewer that it is definatly based on hostel, if you liked switchblade romance youll love this! but is hard to say which is the better of the two, but there is one thing i can say, go out and buy it you wont be dissapointed!

ok.. let's get one thing straight.. do u love blood & flesh gorging zombies ? Do u love 'Friday the 13th' series ? no matter how utterly and stupid they seem ? then read on, cause I just love those.. I dont care if it looks real or not.. fhs.. everyone knows it aint real.. Take Alien vs. Predator! if any1 think that's real.. come on.. go get a blue pill!

now seriously..

First movie rocks and really give the one the same chill as the first Alien did.. Claustrophobic, horror, thrill and no nails left on any fingers or toes. And to be honest, I really felt with Milla at the end. So.. rating. 8/10 of first one.

Apocalypse!

Even freaking better! You get tons of action and if any1 ... Read More:

Great package with a lot of supplement material (even more as at Criterions) with two audio commentaries. One of the great sensei Tony Rayns and one of famous director Guillermo del Toro...

I saw moonlight when it was on tv on Tuesday nights (UK). I thought the storyline was fantastic - there are vampires amongst us, plus a reluctant vampire (Mick)who hates what he is.
I like all the main characters:- Mick, Beth- the internet reporter, Josef -400years old and still looking good and Coraline - Mick's wife who turned him into a vampire on their wedding night. The stories were good, my son loved the action scenes, a love story, friendships - this series had eveything which is why I've bought the set. Can't wait for it to be delivered in November. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they make series 2 - there is also talk of a film.Moonlight - Series 1 - Complete [2007]

Well this classic thriller certainly looks good, the editing is crisp and the mood sombre and threatening BUT, and it's a huge but, the film is completely ruined by the appalling soundtrack: only one word in ten is clear. The actors' words swoop, boom and drop to an inaudible whisper. It sounds as if it was recorded on a faulty dictaphone in a public lavatory. No reputable company would release this and expect people to pay good money to buy it. I cannot imagine what Nicholas Roeg's reaction would be if he knew his film was being treated like this.

This film is wicked.I really liked that creepy piano music theme song during the film. The way it leads up to the end is just awesome. The killings are getting sicker and most of all the story line is just starting to begin (i haven't seen 4 yet).

28 Days Later was a great film and was a cute reminder of how basic we could be; Creme De Menthe and candles, Budgens booze counter, say no more. As for the film, great! To film London deserted was a feat in itself. The storyline was conventional (zombies/virus), but the way it was portrayed was exceptional. As for 28 Weeks Later, well, it was definitely a follow-on, but with it's own twist. The ending being the destruction of Europe by those saved at all costs was good. Will we see a third film..? Watch this space.

Set in a remote, creaky, gothic house where the protagonists rattle round like peas I'd've given this two stars but for the rather poignant twist at the end which made me quite weepy. It's a workaday ghost story but very well acted, I have to say though that I've always found Geraldine Chaplin's face too comical for the kind of parts I've seen her play and here is no exception.
Don't buy this version(Optimum Home) because the sound is infuriating. All the background hiss and crackle which you normally wouldn't notice but which is always there when the actors are speaking becomes very conspicuous during the pauses in dialogue because they've been cut out. All of a sudden it's like the sound failed and sometimes you can see (eg by someone's apparent intake of breath) that they've ... Read More:

Well I enjoyed the film to be honest. I expected very little not a Matrix fan but hubby is and it was he who wanted to watch this. Sat there with my book handy so that I could ignore while he watched.

I didnt read my book. I enjoyed the film the acting and well just about everything really. I would recommend.
