I bought this for my husband and the family to play at Christmas.What a disappointment! The questions were far too difficult and very biased towards American cars.I agree with other reviews that the questions do not tie up with the catagories.There was definitely no fun in this game.

We bought the first of the Telly Addicts games and found it to be quite good so thought we'd give this one a whirl. These type of games are quite good at family get-togethers and certainly avoids the need to play charades! Again the format of this is nice and the comments between seem to work in well. As always there are some questions to which the answers can only be guessed (I have no idea when Barry Chuckle's birthday is!) but other than that this should provide a test for all Telly Addicts. A new feature on this one is the ability to select a level for children (or numpty adults) to play. The games are fairly short and so you won't get too bored while you can always play again.

I was fortunate enough to get a sneaky play on this game and can assure you that it's great entertainment for the whole family. It's really nicely put together - great video clips, good commentary from Mark Nicholas and, of course, the legend that is Shane Warne.

I have to start out by saying that I am a fan of Nicholas Parsons, both in Just a Minute and Sale of the Century. This is an interactive DVD done in a small studio with, at the beginning at least, a slightly nervous-looking Nicholas Parsons. He is dressed very well, and is a gentlemen throughout. Four stars for his performance. The rules of the television version of Sale of a Century are these: You start out with £15, and the three teams may choose to buzz in to answer questions worth initially £1, and in later rounds £3 and £5. This dvd smacks of a commercial decision to make the most money from the xmas market and nothing else. Technically it is very poor-we had 4 questions on the same catweasle clip in one game! The game is slow and graphics are second rate. The Dr Fox links are so cheesy The only consolation is that it becomes laughable in a cringworthy way. A very poor quality item-ITV you should do better!!
