Although this is marketed as an interactive game, it hardly lives up to its description. In the package comes the DVD and a whole wad of differently graded paper-based Sudoku games. The idea is that you hand the games to friends or family. The DVD then gives you an image of an incomplete Sudoku on screen and Carol Vorderman sets you the challenge of completing a particular square that is highlighted. The first of you to get the answer then has to shout Sudoku! and gets awarded points according to how fast they were. Irritatingly, Carol Vorderman explains the points system after every challenge. Bought it, encouraged by enthusiastic reviews but surprised at how poor the product is - essentially pages of multiple choice questions, with no clips or audio of the songs. Dull! It doesn't even score the answers itself (other quiz dvd's do so, cleverly). I was looking forward to this product and feel a little cheated by it.

The combination of DVD sound quality (Dolby and/or DTS)and picture and a fine performance lead me to recommend this highly. A real joy to own. A small ensemble accompanies Ms Fisher playing the four seasons in one of four set-ups within the National Gardens of Wales. An inspired choice of venue. The performance is just perfect to my ears. Thee are two different programmes on the disc. One of them cuts between the performers and the National Gardens. While I enjoyed the views around the botanical gardens, I was distracted by the overlaid sound effects (rustle of leaves, gurgle of running water in a stream and so on) which I felt unnecessary.
