Bought it, encouraged by enthusiastic reviews but surprised at how poor the product is - essentially pages of multiple choice questions, with no clips or audio of the songs. Dull! It doesn't even score the answers itself (other quiz dvd's do so, cleverly). I was looking forward to this product and feel a little cheated by it.

I bought this for my kids at school because we're studying volcanoes and I know that the Eyewitness series of books is quite good and very appealing to the age group I teach (10 year olds). Unfortunately, this dvd isn't quite what I wanted. It does give information about different kinds of natural disaster: hurricane, earthquake, tsunami, volcano, avalanche, flood, lightning(?) but each segment is a little too brief to convey much information. If you want an overview of natural disasters, this would be ok but not if you wanted something more in-depth. Also, sad to say, the clips that are used are outdated. The dvd is based on footage available in 1997 and since then, as we know, there has been an enormous (and well documented) ... Read More:

This film seems to have gone almost un-noticed, not heard of it before but when I saw the cast, I thought it should be pretty good. Also known as Reindeer games on region 1. The story is that a guy released from prisoner meets his cellmates pen friend played by the beautiful Charlize Theron. She has never seen the guy she has been writing to so he decides to be him. However her violent brother turns up wanting to know all about a casino he used to work in so he can rob it! So he now has to bluff what he knows because he has never worked there. There are some good ideas in the story and plot line although it does get a bit twisted towards the end. It has a slight low budget feel to it but overall not bad for a rent but far from a classic. 6/10
