I got this DVD as 2008 was one of the best Le Mans races in years. To be honnest there are just too many errors, the narator gets people and car names wrong, he pretends he knows what drivers are saying to their teams, and generally anoys the anorak viewer all the way through. For an ACO official review of the race it's just not good enough. I'm just glad I got it cheap from Amazon!!

A fantastic review of the 2006 Season, sound contamination from the race into the commentary box makes for some interesting anomalies - virtually empty track on screen but background noise is cars downshifting for corners. I would like to have seen more post race analysis and F1 background - maybe a case for a 2 DVD set in the future. It is amazing how different a race sounds with commentators you are not used to.

This is surely US hype for the US market only; Edwards and Hayden are apparently great blokes, but sadly they haven't set the GP scene alight. (I am so disappointed for the lack of return Edwards has had, yet he is such a talented rider). Rossi as reported, is not featured heavily. There are many other DVDs - see Amazon reviews (Faster etc etc )- that are more representative of the 'supermen' who ride these machines.

IN this collection you get highlights from three of Clarksons shows; Extreme Machines, Speed and Motorworld (Where is Meet the Neighbours, where he tours Europe?) The shows are very entertaining and interesting. Clarkson is his usual self, I only wish they were the complete series, as so many good bits are missing. Come on BBC, what are you waiting for, give the fans a full release!

This was a very good season, apart from the USA grand prix, but there was some great races and in the end, a superb driver won the title!!!

Clarkson drives some fine and atrocious cars in this DVD. The good include truly sublime rides, the bad are just ridiculous. This is great entertainment & strongly recommended. Good fun.

I disagree from the review from the guy in Bath, I don't know what DVD he was watching but there were pre-race builds up for all the races. I liked the on board camera shots, switching to pit lanes. The different shots for Hakkinen's overtaking on Schumacher. The picture quantity is great. How ever there's room for improvement (hence fours stars). 1. If you get Murry Walker to commentate, I sure sales would triple. hint for 2001 2. It would great if we could a complete lap with the on board camera. Other than that I thought this is great DVD, for any F1 fan.
