I grew up on Roger Clark and the works Escorts and remember seing this movie at one of the motor club nights. It's an entertaining hour especially if these cars were from your era and it includes a session with Roger Clark showing Dickie Davis (remember him) how to drive a stage including an interview with Roger. Not all action but it brings back the memories.

I ordered this film for my hubby, but have to say, it was so professionally filmed and edited, I watched it all the way through myself. I'm not interested in cars save to get me from A to B safely, but this film was much more about the characters in the rally and had lots of fabulous aerial sequences showing the stunning scenery of the american south. It's a quality film, and very watchable.

James Hunt was one of the best F1 drivers of the 70's and in my mind defiantely the best English driver ahead of Mansell and Damon Hill! This DVD is well put together, with a long interview featuring lots of racign footage from his early days until his retirement. There's none of his BBC commentary unfortunately, so we don't get classics like: MURRAY: There are flames coming from the back of Prost's car as he goes into the swimming pool.... JAMES: That should put them out then! The extras are pretty good, with a look at James' Grand Prix wins some sleeve notes, and a look at one of the F1 cars he drove.
