It also seen the debut of super rookie Jacques Villeneuve who nearly won the title at his first attempt as Hill began to choke toward the end of the season, and Villeneuve had a late surge. Schumacher joined Ferrari and would stay there until his retirement in 2006. He was able to drag the 'red bus' to three victories. David Coulthard joined a struggling, winless McLaren, joining Häkkinen for what turned out to be a six season partnership. He remained there until 2004. This was the first of the FOCA reviews, and it shows. Running for a little under 90 minutes, it is unfortunate that almost a third of that time is used up on a very repetitive introduction that really involves little more than close up shots of the likes of Piquet, Jones et al, none of whom could exactly be classed as pin-ups. However, once the action gets under way, it is all good, focussing on a very exciting and close season with 5 drivers chasing the title almost to the wire. The racing itself is excellent, although the commentary is rather lacking in sparkle.

What a DVD! I bought this dvd with some intrepididation as the last i had heard wasnt the best, really shocked with the improvement. I have this dvd running during my local club meetings and it adds an element of dynamics to our normally mundane club talk. Well authored and excellent production, a credit to its author.

i really love to watch this over and over again in this dvd jc races a 170bhp ford cougar v a 300bhp ford focus rally car and a 800bhp f1 car also a porsche 911 vs a bike bmw m5 driven by tiff needel vs JC in a jaguar xkr he also destroys a hyuandi accent we also see a ferrari 360 vs an aston martin db7 in a 400hp!!! shoot out buy this for an hour of your life
