I've just seen this film and it is totally brilliant and i loved it. Except I didn't get to see the end as both our children were pretty terrified of it. They know the story really well from the music and the wonderful Ian Beck book which is probably our most read book. However for a 2 year old and 4 year old it was pretty scary. I'm amazed that its classified as U.

Thats my only reason for not giving 5 stars! So as long as you're 6 years or above consider this review a 5 stars!!!

The reviews on this DVD seem to be from the Live Aid DVD available elsewhere. This DVD is "Queen Rock Montreal & Live Aid", the Live Aid bit lasts around 15 minutes and is Queen's set in the afternoon and Brian and Freddie playing "Is this the world we created?", there are also the odd interview and some rehearsal footage here, these bits however should be seen as "extras", the main event is the 2 concerts filmed in Montreal in 1981.

Any one who is a Queen fan, probably has the "We Will Rock You" video or DVD, well this is the exact same film, but the quality in High Definition is astounding. The band apparently did not enjoy making this, they also did not own it, apparently they now do, and this HD DVD is a Queen Production. ... Read More:

This DVD is great. The music choice is mostly good, the words all correct and synched properly. The background videos are also old footage and cartoons but very funny. Recommended.

Set against 1990's Blond Ambition world tour, 'In Bed With Madonna' gives an inside view into Madonna's world. The film spans the tour from beginning to end and gives glimpses of a world that most stars of Madonna's calibre would rather their fans didn't see.
Whether you believe that this is how Madonna really is or not is irrelevant. The film takes its audience on such an emotional and musical journey that you are left totally spellbound and breathless by the end of it -a Wizard Of Oz for the 90's; and you can't help but liking Madonna just that little bit more by the end of it too. (Just don't let Granny watch that performance of Like A Virgin about half way through the movie though!)

This three disc set covers over forty years of Paul McCartney and Wings with studio video, live performances and extras that you probably have never seen. All the songs have been cleaned up and most are in 5.1 surround sound. Paul also contributes valuable and interesting voice-over commentaries for much of the material, if selected.

Don't let the first disc fool you into thinking that all the videos will be the same. Some of the storylines and video may be a bit dated looking and fuzzy, but the sound is perfect. "Ebony & Ivory" is a bit saccharin for my tastes, but Mac makes up for that with great video renditions of, "Mamunia", "Maybe I'm Amazed", "Mull Of Kintyre" and of all things, "C-Moon", which sounds great.

This is a good DVD but not as entertaining as killadelphia, worth seeing the donington gig as it was powerfull as hell!and there are a few funny moments to boot,as for the sound qaulity of the songs that are spliced into the documentary itself, its second to none, and obviously alot of work went into this.
Certainly worth the money but dont expect to see alot of stuff you may already have seen in the last DVD release.

After buying the Future Sex Love Sounds album I thought I would buy the DVD. It is the most amazing concert DVD I have ever watched. Just like other reviewers have said, it is fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere, the dancers, the music is all spot on. I urge all fans of JT to buy this DVD as you will be watching it again and again and again! My only issue with this DVD is that it makes me wish I was there when it was filmed!!

Superb!!!

My boss kindly lent me this set last week. I already had the original version of the "1000 Years" show on CD, but this video adds new dimensions to the performance. Much of the focus, of course, is on RT as he stands at the mike in that characteristic twisted posture, leading with his right shoulder, eyes closed on the ballads, biting off the end of the lines of the fast songs, effortlessly switching from humorous banter to performances of extraordinary intensity, and playing just about the best acoustic guitar you've ever heard. This latter skill is well showcased in rhis unbelievably eclectic set, from his picking out of the intricate melody on the Gilbert and Sullivan number, to the rhythmic, funky thump that drives "So Ben Mi Ca Bon Tempo" and the expert ...
