I'm married but when we went to see Pink live in Nottingham me and my female friend both walked out and said she could "take" us down the other path if you get my drift (& not married herself).
She is an amazing show woman, she's sexy, daring, has an exquisite voice!!! Need I go on!!
I've seen the Try This and I'm Not Dead tours live and she just keeps getting better!!!
I've only just bought this and the Try This dvd (Jan 08) but I can't wait to watch them!!!! Enjoy!!

Wasn't going to write a review, but then you get jumped up little wannabe Guardianists like Thomas "Nobmachine" spewing out their fetid bed wetting nonsense. Make no mistake, this is first and foremost a great rock'n'roll dvd, full on balls to the wall classic rock, played how it should be! No prog rock here! Just a huge wall of sound that is unmatched by any other act for sheer power. Every track bristles with righteous fury and takes you right back to 1977, a far more interesting musical time than we have at the moment. The audience defintely loved it big time, always a good sign.

I have been an ABBA fan since my teens (70s)! The sound quality of this recording is exceptional and I really appreciated the second disc which has all the less popular songs (which happens to be my favourites) on it. I would really recommend this collection of 2 CDs and DVD to any ABBA fan! It is the best recording (sound quality) i have ever heard of all the ABBA LP's or CD's. GET IT NOW!!!!!
PS - the ABBA documentary was a little dissapointing - would have liked to see more of the other members of the band being interviewed. Still - do not even hesitate to buy this collection!!!!

Bruce Weber's photography turns the drug and alcohol ravaged face of Chet Baker into a landscape to be explored, and then shows you him as a beautiful young James Dean lookalike.

The music is extraordinary, and carries the film through what might have been its more self indulgent moments. It is cleverly set into context by the commentary from all the talking heads.

Some of the speakers are knowledgeable and insightful, but there is plenty of pleasure is to be gained from listening to his various lovers and wives bitching about each other, which certainly ensures that this is no hagiography.

Perhaps the best bits are when Bruce shows Chet getting angry - when questioned by young fans comparing him unfavourably to Miles ... Read More:

Well, having enjoyed the 2004 crossroads dvd I couldn't wait to get this.
Frankly its not as good as the Texas recording although it includes Johnny Winter whom we rarely see in action.Clapton is in top form however on disc two.
My main gripe is the appaling sound quality. It crackles throughout both the dvd's and is unbearable. ( Its not my equipment- honest.) I foolishly threw it aside in disgust and now its too late to return it. beware.

39.Othello (1990) starring: Ian McKellen, Imogen Stubbs, Willard White, Zoe Wanamker, Marsha Hunt
directed by: Trevor Nunn
November 17, 2003
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

DVD : Othello (1990)
It's one of those accepted blips: any production of "Othello" doesn't rely on the performance of the eponymous hero, but of his Nemesis, Iago.
And what an Iago Ian McKellen makes! Absolutely astounding. You have to see it.
Willard White is serviceable as Othello, Zoe Wanamaker is her usual superb self as Emilia and Imogen Stubbs is surprisingly unpunchable in a role that really could only be played properly by a 23 year old Jeanne Moreau.
Great production that (voguishly, but brilliantly) takes the play down to its domestic roots and plays as a chamber piece.
There are always going to be limitations to film versions of theatre, but by accepting that this is what this "Othello" is, Trevor Nunn has come up with a production to treasure.

I am really shocked. I bought the Remastered CD set and was very pleased with that. But this is a wasted opportunity!!
It is basically a platform for Messrs Plant and Page. All too often Jonesy and Bonzo's performances are lost or ignored by the camera.
The actual finish is not too hot either - what worked so well with the CD does not work here!
Quite frankly, this is a bit of a mess in places. When one consideres that this is supposed to be a "Special Edition", you might understandably expect the presentation to be a bit "special". In my humble opinion - it's not!
In my humble opinion - they needn't have bothered!
Just stay with the CD!
