Season 8 is another enjoyable run of witty and intelligent humour from Dr. Frasier Crane and friends. This is the season when after all the near misses Niles and Daphne finally get together.

The season started strongly by continuing immediately from where Daphne leaves husband-to-be Donny at the altar, to be with Niles. However Frasier is still single and searching for his true soul-mate. The middle of the series was relatively weak as it required the design of stories to accommodate Jane Leeves' (Daphne) real-life pregnancy. However, things got good again by the end of the season.

The best episodes were:
'And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon' (in 2 parts) - what happens next after Daphne and Niles leave Donnie ... Read More:

Main Documentary: encoded at 1080p24 (slowed down from original)
Making of Documentary & interviews: encoded in standard definition 50i

This is a good documentary, with a good, usually sharp picture for the main feature. It was filmed at 25p and 50i but they've slowed the whole thing down to 24p (except for the making of documentary & interviews, which are in standard definition 50i). Sometimes the picture is a bit juddery even on a HDTV capable of native 24p (which you'd have to get if you don't want 3:2 pulldown judder - which you wouldn't get if it was in it's native 25p/50i format) - which may be because of the slow down to 24p, losing motion resolution.

I'd have given this at least 4 stars if it was encoded ... Read More:

My Dad had shown me a few of the Pink Panther films when I was little, and when I got The Pink Panther (2006) on DVD, it was only natural that I'd go on and buy this, and I wasn't disapointed.
What you get is 5 Pink Panther films featuring Sellers;
The Pink Panther, stars David Niven as The Phantom, who sets out to steal the Pink Panthern Diamond. It is up to the bumbling Inspector Clouseau to stop him. This film is weaker than some of the others in the series and has a distinct 60's feel to it.
A Shot in the Dark, finds Sellers in the lead role trying to solve a murder. The action and comedy is much stronger than the first film and this is reguarded as one of the better one. It also marked the first appearance of Kato and Inspector Dreyfuss. ... Read More:

This film is hillarious.
The Grinch is a green hairy fella who lives with his dog. He hates Christmas and all things nice.
I have watched this film so many times, and i still laugh out loud every time.
I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants a funny, feel good Christmas movie, to watch with all the family.

I LOVE this film! I cannot let a year go by without watching it. I defy anyone not to crack up watching Chevy Chase on that saucer sled. Hilarity itself. If you haven't seen it, buy it. If you have seen it, buy it anyway.

This film has a very similar feel to the first movie. It moves at a similar pace and the story is just as mediocre. Its not a bad film by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, when in a certain mood I can happily watch this movie and enjoy it. However, just like the first film, it is nothing special but just about keeps you interested enough to watch the next installment. I like fantasy and escapism movies and although this is not as good as the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy or as funny as 'stardust' ... it is still better than others such as the terrible Eragorn.

If you like the first film, even just a little, you should like this aswell. Slightly above average movie.
