This double video features two of the Poirot stories: "Double Sin" and "The Adventure of the Cheap Flat". Out of the two I would say that the first is the most enjoyable, although "Cheap Flat" is certainly not without its charms. "Double Sins" sees Poirot, Hastings and Japp enjoying a sojourn in the Lake District when they are caught up in the middle of an art theft. Poirot decides that he will not himself investigate this one, and leaves it to Hastings to discover the culprit and bring him to justice. Now, I must admit that Hastings is, along with Poirot and Miss Lemon, one of my very favourite characters, and it is a joy to see him in the spotlight for a change.
