Sade can at times be a bit well, monotone, but her early performance live DVD here shows what an entertainer she can be, doing much of her routine barefoot, Sade Adu glides through the set as angelically as you would expect and more. Sade can't be appreciated the same unless she's live. This is different to the 'Lover's Live' DVD though there are similarities in tracks, the latter is definitely the best Sade live DVD, but as an added extra, you can't go wrong with this purchase either. A much loved part of my collection.

Watch the videos with commentary from Tim, Jim and Larry. It's the most amazing history of the band including anecdotes from over the years that will remind you why you love them so. It even includes 'If things were perfect' - brilliant.

Before I comment on this dvd , I'd like to make a few observations. First, this collection was supposed to have been released last year as the very FIRST of the "MOTOWN DEFINITIVE DVD" collections. It was advertised widely on the internet , and in record stores under the name " SMOKEY ROBINSON: MY WORLD- THE DEFINITIVE DVD COLLECTION,(along with a companion cd release of the same name). It was even, until very recently, advertised right here on AMAZON,but,it was withdrawn,and replaced with this collection. Appearently, the powers that be at MOTOWN and UNIVERSAL decided to go with a "MIRACLES" collection instead of just focusing on SMOKEY. I APPLAUD THIS DECISION. FOR TOO LONG,the MIRACLES have been COMPLETELY IGNORED for their many contrbutions ... Read More:

it was fantastic viewing all at there best. it was the last time that they all were together in concert, Lawrence died shortly after. I watch it on a regular basis,my favourite is Levi STubbs so sad that he no longer sings through his illness.They all seemed to be so happy and enjoying themselves a must for all fans.

The quality of this bluray was more like upscaled DVD, I was really disappointed! The music was good but the surround sound let it down. Ill let him off slightly as it was filmed when Bluray wasnt really that big but really it should be better! Just buy the dvd.

As one who grew up with EW&F in the 70s, I tore the wrapper off like a kid on xmas morning, fired up my DVD player and prepared for the show with a cup of my favourite beverage. The first few old promo videos are brilliant! Dated yes, but great none the less. Boogie Wonderland is such a simple idea, yet it provides such a spectacle, especially on the slo-mo shots! The later efforts, such as Magnetic and Heritage are disappointing, owing more to M. Jackson than M. White and co. The standard improves with the live clips, although I would've loved to see a video of Fantasy but you can't have everything!
