Hi there, I'm old enough to remember Beverly Hills 90210,(to whom GG has been compared) and for me, it has never been such a fuzz...and by the way to tell the truth,I've never been too anxious to watch the whole series! However in years I've enjoyed many US series from an an euro perspective (cause I'm italian): Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill for the american idea of the posse of the good old friends, and the updated kind of "coming-to-an age" stories like...

But even most, the shows based on a prevoius strong idea, usually sprung from a book, that in my opinion gives to it that "something" more to help it to become special: in this list for example there are Roswell, and especially Sex and the City! I think Gossip Girl ... Read More:

For me, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were, are and always shall be, the quintessential Jeeves and Wooster! As English as Pimms and Cucumber sandwiches, this glorious P.G. Wodehouse creation lifts the veil on the altogether more carefree life in 1920's high society, ironically observed through the wit of one of our great writers. And who better to bring it to the screen than two of our greatest comic talents.

Sadly, P.G. Wodehouse has suffered of late from the tight mouthed disapproval of Political Correctness. I wish that some people could just get over their left wing angst about "toffs" though, and see this for what it is - a wry and witty gallop through an entirely different era. This is comic farce, and it pokes fun at absolutely ... Read More:

My only problem is that you cant always understand what they're saying while they're singing so i had to figure the plot out by other means. loved it though, would give it 4 1/2 if i could

when asked what my favourite film is ill invariably say disneys Robin hood and the blank looks on the questioners face normally is just a comon occurance that until they have seen the film they dont understand why its so good!

Children and adults alike will love this film, ok the graphics are dated but for 1973 they are very good, the story is jolly, heart warming and a great take on an old fable.

The characters are all animals which makes a change, they are all voiced amazingly and fitting to the animal in every way! The film isnt long but with small children thats ok and the music gets stuck in your head for a good day after seeing it!

Its a definate classic for families and for the disney lover this is a must ... Read More:

For anyone who hasn't inhabited Earth and missed this one then it comes highly recommended as one of the best fantasy Romantic Comedy drama's with a fantastic soundtrack ranging from Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman" from the title and Roxette's classic "It must have been Love"...Richard Gere plays an ultra wealthy business property tycoon Edward Lewis obsessed with the kill but lonely enough to employ the services of an apprentice hooker in Vivian Ward played by Julia Roberts only to find that love can be sought in the strangest places....Welcome to Hollywood and what's your dream...well Vivian wanted all or nothing whilst Edward just wanted a short hire and fire with no strings......what followed was one of the most chemistry based modern romantic comedy drama's ... You can try to compare Spooks to US series like 24 but for me Spooks is on a whole different level to 24. After a few short series 24 is starting to go stale with the same kind of plots being played out season after season. The explosions get bigger but the bottom line is still the same. Spooks on the other hand seems to go from strength to strength with every passing season. Yes there are only 10 episodes per season but that gives you some idea of the amount of thought that goes into every episode. I think the reason Spooks gets stronger with every episode is because it doesn't rely on the explosions and gun-battles that 24 does to make an impact. Spooks relies on it's storyline, some fantastic acting and so much realism that you actually finish an episode ... Read More:

This film takes me right back to when I was a kid on Christmas eve watching this film before being tucked into bed...I bought this for me and hopefully when my 2 are old enough they will enjoy this just as much... This is the REAL Santa and in my eyes always has been.
5 stars for nostalgia! Brilliant Film, enjoy!

We watch four middle aged men enter a down-at-heal office. They take seats around a table. Thay say nothing. One at the end coughs and asks "Shall we begin?" One to the side huffs audibly and then the opening credits rolls.

How brave a start is that? Who would start a major TV serial like that these days? Ive seen "Tinker Tailor..." five times now and look forward to watching it a again. If there was a fire and I could run to save just one DVD this would be the one.

This was one of my favourite disney films when I was little and when I saw it on DVD fully restored with pristine picture quality I had to buy it. This may not be on the same terms as Lion King, Bambi, Little Mermaid and other disney classics we all know, in terms of popularity but this film has its own charm to it and is just as good as the others, with its sense of imagination, humour and positive messaging. This is a great film in its own right and for any disney fan or someone looking for a good family film it should be in your DVD collection.

Found this movie likable, but not laugh out loud funny. Still entertaining enough, but in places it was quite predictable.
The lead, Jason Segel is good as the heartbroken Peter but the best thing about this movie is Russel Brand who basically stole the show. Normally i'm not a big fan of his but I thought he was brilliant here as the sex mad rock star. He definitely made this movie worth watching and he was funny at the right moments.
A watchable and often funny movie worth watching for the hilarious supporting cast.
