This DVD was worth the purchase for the Learn the Alphabet extra feature alone. This held the attention of my 3 year old and has the added bonus of being interactive. Simple for kids to navigate using arrow and OK buttons on your remote control.

this is one of the best films ive seen all year....for the people that have only voted this 3 stars or less...has problems. the effects are amazing and the storyline is good, i ave watched it twice in 2 weeks because its that good.

I purchased (with some excitement) this version on DVD as it says on the cover it's a "restored" version and the running time was stated as 86 mins opposed to the previous DVD release of 82 mins. I was convinced that it would be a "restored" version with the song "When Love is Gone" put back in... But sadly, it wasn't! Alas, it was just a re-package of the previous release. I've decided to keep it anyway and not take it back for a refund as I don't have it on DVD, but I have just bought the VHS version from Amazon so I can watch it this Christmas in it's full "RESTORED" version!

This review will be short and sweet. Most of what needs to be said already has been but for one question; Is Dharma real? We have found people in hatches pressing buttons and recording information because they have been told to in the style of Stanley Milgram but are we not doing the same? Don't get me wrong; I'm enjoying it immensely, but are we not being played with in Dharma fashion? The story leaps about with very few answers and yet we keep pressing the button (the play button on my DVD)because it seems the right thing to do. I'm convinced that Lost is produced by The Dharma Initiative.

This is a great boxset and is amazing value for money. Its action packed and hilarious and had me and my sister entertained for hours. It has three complete season and great special features including a hilarious gag real. Great buy.

It's difficult to imagine any dramatisation of 'Bleak House' being better done. The cast is uniformly excellent and the adaptation successfully captures the 'page-turner' quality of the book. Not to be missed.

I absolutely love this show. I think another reviewer said thirtysomethings will enjoy this more and I have to agree. While Life on Mars was brilliant, a lot of the time it did seem to be nothing more than a pastiche of the brilliant Sweeney and Gene Genie nothing more than a piss-take of the legendary Jack Regan. That is not to slag it off LoM was groundbreaking and I adore John Simm and he made Sam Tyler such an empathetic character it was easy to sympathise with Sam's plight. However (deep breath)...Life on Mars is a different kettle of fish altogether. The first thing that struck me was how cleverly it is filmed. I bought this DVD for my young son when he was two years old, with a degree of nostalgia in mind. I would not have anticipated quite what a hit it has been. The gentle, moral tales have captivated him to an amazing degree. We must have been watching these for a year now and he doesn't tire of them at all. The animation of the pictures is very simple but effective, the music is just wonderful. Unlike some other DVDs I've bought (Trumpton, Clangers) this one has lasted the test of time wonderfully - my only complaint is that the new Gladiator tale jars slightly image wise and leaves utterly unexplained how Mr Benn is supposed to know Basher in the first place!!

Lee is a very underrated comedian but not by his peers ; just listen to any of the big names & they all say he's one of the sharpest minds out there. I loved this DVD ... it's worth buying for just one sketch alone.. check out " I'm so cockney it hurts " ... pure genius. Get the cheque in the post Lee

I agree with a previous ctitic, this film had most of the ingredients to make a memorable film - except the screenplay. It was fine until a certain point, then went to hell. Don't buy it, rent it if you feel you've got to see it.
