i was looking around, trying to find something to buy, and then i thought of Josh Lewsey's tackle on Mat Rogers. i was sold. great buy. games shown in full (one on each disc), and the commentary is from the home nations TV. (perfect).

I truly hate to say it as someone who has followed the ups and downs of Scottish rugby since about 1970 and who has been starved of TV coverage for the last 10 years due to living abroad, but I recently bought this DVD with high expectations and it just left me cold. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with the DVD, although the minimalist commentary did make me yearn for Bill "they'll be dancing in the streets of Hawick tonight" McLaren. However, rugby union just seems to have become rugby league with lineouts, in other words dull beyond description as the ball goes through the 28th phase of possession and moves about six inches forwards. I was very excited and proud of what Scotland achieved in this game when I listened to it ... Read More:

I bought this DVD recently, unsure whether it would do the great man justice or not, and I must say, I sat glued to the television screen for 63 straight minutes. My only disappointment was that it had to end sooner or later. I found myself wondering why they didn't fill the DVD with 3 or 4 more hours of Jonah Lomu tries... It simply leaves you hungry for more, which is ultimately the goal of any great DVD. What I enjoyed most, aside from the notorious world cup tries against the likes of Ireland, France and England, where the interviews with Jonah himself.
