Having collected the magnificent DVD on the 1997 Lions tour and the very good one from 2001 I was looking forward to seeing what happened 'inside the Lions Den'. I was disappointed to say the least. Contrary to the suggestion that Kiwis might enjoy this DVD, I can assure you as a Kiwi that I did not. The Lions are my second favourite international team behind the All Blacks but I got nothing out of this awful, tedious documentary. Never mind, I can always put in the 1997 DVD and watch Jim Telfer's speech to the forwards before the third test. Hair-raising stuff!

A brilliant collection of tries from Super League going right back to the beginning, which brought back many fond memories. The only thing that stops me giving this 5 stars is that it's advertised as being co-presented by Brian Carney, but actually there's very little presentation by him - a few introductory sentences and one brief interview - though there are three great tries by him. But it's a small advertising flaw in what is otherwise worth every penny.

Superb DVD this. Great clips of many great games, with the voice of Bill McLaren giving you many of his finest catch-phrases - "they'll be ..." etc. Because of the age of the clips the DVD has a 4:3 picture ratio. It runs to 63 minutes in length and if you are a Rugby fan (why else would you be buying it though) it can be watched over and over... I picked this up very cheap so hunt around and don't pay full price for it.

I was rather disappointed with the picture quality of this DVD. Granted, the footage was shot in the 70's, but you'd have thought the DVD producers could have employed some digital jiggery-pokery to brighten the picture. The dark, grainy footage is almost unwatchable at some points. This does spoil what is otherwise a great trip down memory lane for Welsh rugby fans.

2007's tournament was excellent & bought back all the memories of 2003. It may not have been the best game ever, as refered to by elitist Rugby fan Rupert pert in previous review, but for excitment & tension you could not beat that final. A memorable tournament topped off by an extra time dropped goal that has become one of the most played sporting clips ever. This is a must own for any Rugby fan...A gmoment reat piece of England Rugby history
