And with that statement the mood is set for Watanabes' latest and possibly greatest anime, and this coming from a looong time BeBop fan!But the difference being where BeBop had a kind of Bluesy/Jazz feel to it this flips it around and injects it with a n irreverent hiphop/jazz funk!
The story revolves around three fairly mismatched characters, Mugen the vagrant, vulgar and lacking any civility whatsoever but yet is a master with his blade, Jinn (I won't spoil some of his backstory here) a quiet, well mannered Ronin who is highly trained in the use of his beloved Katana and of course Fuu, the rather dim but sweet, gentle natured and eternally hungry waitress who, by helping these two wanderers escape certain death ,brings them together ...
