The show is even better than I remembered, but beware of the extras, some of them contain spoilers, so save them for the end of each season.

When I first heard about this television series, I heard it was the next 'Lost' and that it would be the next phenomenon of the television world. Sadly, I didnt think it lived upto the hype and overall the first episodes were a dissapointment. Although I was very uninspired with 'Heroes' I continued to watch but wasnt too annoyed if I missed an episode. Towards the end of the first season I had developed a passing interest in the programe and I was bordering on actually enjoying it. Finally when the season finale' came ... I had to be in to watch it. Whilst I dont think its anywhere near as good as 'Lost' .... Heroes is still good .... to a certain degree. In the end I found that I liked it enough to look forward to the second season.

this is one of the best films ive seen all year....for the people that have only voted this 3 stars or less...has problems. the effects are amazing and the storyline is good, i ave watched it twice in 2 weeks because its that good.

Brilliantly made disaster movie. Rob is leaving for Japan and his friends are throwing him a going away party, which is being filmed on video camera. While the party is underway, earthquakes start to shake the city and soon explosions begin to light the sky and buildings are crumbling. The friends decide to take off for safety, ad the camera Weilding Hud captures their journey through terror. With some spectacular special effects, a great storyline and some reasonalbly decent acting, this is an interesting spin on Blair Witch Project meets Godzilla.

The opening shot is of downtown New York City. Only these aren't normal buildings but towers of blocks of trash. WALL-E (voiced by beeps and Ben Burtt), our hero, is a glorified trash compactor who has made the mountains. As we follow him across the vast landscape, we learn that he is the last of his kind and that he is indeed on earth. Humans fled years ago because they bought into the commercialism of the Buy-n-Large stores that ruled the earth. The resulting garbage overran the planet. But WALL-E is not a mindless robot. After finally convincing my brother to watch an episode of Family Guy, infuriatingly it turned out to be this one. It's really not up to the standard I've come to expect of the series' writers, it was pretty lame, really, obviously written by Star Wars fans for Star Wars fans. Now he refuses to watch it at all and thinks I'm daft for liking it. Crud.

I received this product this morning (I was expecting to receive it in two days' time, so that's a good start!) I haven't opened it as of yet, but this is just a 'first impression' description for those of you who are curious. The collection comes in an A4-sized package, about the size of an A4 book, for example, which suprised me - I was expecting a regular-sized boxset - like most other boxsets - with about 8-10 individual 'sections', each containing a disc. I am wrong. It contains 10 discs featuring every episode from every series of Red Dwarf. As mentioned, I have yet to open the boxset, but from the size and shape of it, I can only assume that the discs are all layed flat and possibly 'overlapping' one another slightly, as opposed to them being laid side-by-side. ...
