This film has a very similar feel to the first movie. It moves at a similar pace and the story is just as mediocre. Its not a bad film by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, when in a certain mood I can happily watch this movie and enjoy it. However, just like the first film, it is nothing special but just about keeps you interested enough to watch the next installment. I like fantasy and escapism movies and although this is not as good as the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy or as funny as 'stardust' ... it is still better than others such as the terrible Eragorn.

If you like the first film, even just a little, you should like this aswell. Slightly above average movie.

Ever wonder, who is Santa Claus, really? Where does he come from, how old is he? How in the world does he squeeze down a chimney, and how does he get in if there isn't a chimney? What's the deal here? Well, happily, the answers to these questions and more are finally answered, as the legend of Santa Claus comes to life as never before in `The Santa Clause,' directed by John Pasquin and starring Tim Allen. Scott Calvin (Allen) is an executive with a toy manufacturing company, he's divorced and has a young son, Charlie (Eric Lloyd), who still believes in Santa, but is at an age at which doubt is beginning to creep into the picture. And the fact that Charlie's mom, Laura (Wendy Crewson) has a boyfriend, Dr. Neal Miller (Judge Reinhold), who is a psychiatrist, isn't helping ... Read More:

after season 1's dissapointment comes season 2 which picks up a bit better, the crew encounter the kazon much more then previously encountered and masterminded by the vengeful cardassian woman, Seska whos cover was broken by Kes and the doctor in season 1. meanwhile exploration is put on back burner this season as it involves a bit more action which makes up for the ok or dire storyline. however the end episode of season 2 works out a great springboard to work off for season 3 to begin with a bang.

recommended in order to find out why the voyager crew was dumped on a primitive planet by the kazon, and what plans a few rogue crewmembers have in-store for the kazon on board voyager as well as outside.

As i have always maintained Season 1 of voyager is the most boring star trek season of all of them. it might not be what everyone might be thinking however i recommend season 1 so you know how season 2 works out.

Certain characters and races/organizations you might not be aware of if you have never watched TNG or DS9 but you have watched VOY, are listed below:

Federation, Cardassians, Kazon, Bajorans, Ocampans, Talaxians, Marquis
Quark, Morn, Q

Edward (Depp), born with scissors for hands, is brought into the local village and becomes the talk of the town.

God bless Tim Burton. Who in their right minds would take a fairy tale and include a man with scissors for hands? Burton's sheer strangeness continues after his beautiful Beetlejuice and Batman in this darkly colourful fantasy drama and throws the fairytale convention out of the window. Burton is an inspiration to the film industry, a man who does everything differently and there is no one else out there like him, and his finally cut creation, inspired by one of his own drawings, is a sentimental spark in his collection, his most touching to date.

For those fairytale lovers out there don't worry. This 1990 picture follows the convention of an ... Read More:

With the majority of the Goa'uld defeated during the previous season this ninth season sees the rise of a new threat to the galaxy in the form of the godlike Ori. This season also sees changes to the main cast with Richard Dean Anderson leaving the main cast and new faces in the shape of Ben Bowder, Claudia Black (both from the excellent Farscape) and Lexa Doig (from Andromeda) joining the show on a regular or semi-regular basis. This change in cast could have been quite terrible but thankfully Ben Bowder more than fills Anderson's shoes as Lt. Col. Mitchell, the new leader of SG-1, and all the other new additions to the cast also fit in very well.

The storyline of this season is good, with the defeat of the Goa'uld last season it was inevitable that a new galactic threat ... Read More:
