More trashy Cruise footage, same rubbish different theme. This is Top Gun but with cars. Mr macho Cruise, well as macho as you can be at 4'9", again puts himself in danger with an exciting possibilty of him being injured in a film but yet again another miraculous escape. The wheelchair bit is a straight ripoff of Talledega Nights, has this man no originality? Its a boring sport to make a film about anyway, driving round and around a loop all day, typically American, this film is schmaltzy and predictable. Look at the cover, its more about his big irritaing face than the cars.

There are not many golf films but of those that there are this is probably the best. Kevin Costner is an ill-diciplined golf pro, running a decrepid driving range in a small Texas town. He is a naturally gifted player choc full of inner demons and a strong reckless streak. Along comes Reno Russo for a lesson (she is also the local shrink) and from there the sparks fly and in a bid to prise her away from an old partner and rival he tries to qualify for the USA Open. The film is warm and funny and a love story as much about his relationship with his caddy and best friend Romeo (played by Cheech Martin)with whom he has a somewhat fractious interplay as Romeo tries to keep him playing in a sensible fashion. This DVD is excellent it shows really helpful surfing techniques for all levels of ability. The sections are very clearly explained and cover each step in a way that you can relate to. The photography is good also and combined with the instructional aspects creates a DVD that's well worth looking at before you go surfing! Having watched "Learn To Surf" by Andy Irons - don't bother that is only 28 minutes long and mostly a PR show case! - not worth it. By 110% Surfing Techniques instead.

Okay, so the good thing about Ray Winstone, is that he's an intense performer. You cannot fault his energy and passion, though sometimes, when the writing isn't strong enough he can fall back on these assets too much. Let me explain. As any of you who saw that drivel 'King Arthur' would have noticed; he tends to go a little OTT. In 'All In The Game' he does this to a cringe-worthy extent. In fact, it leaves you feeling half-gripped and half-embarassed for his out-of-place zeal. This film has very little poise or cunning in it's approach of the football topic. Clearly catering for a 'lads mag' mindset to football politics - it's simply an extended version of 'Footballer's Wives' but aimed at WKD blokes instead of bingo winged lambrini girls. ... This is an excellent Video showing how when you cheat by polishing the ball illegally , you can win a cricket series. A worth while 'watch' for any prospective Cricket Cheat. The best thing that can be said about this is that it is comprehensive: all matches are covered, including all the goals and penalty shoot-outs. On the face of it, this is as much as can be asked of an 'official' review DVD. Yet there are problems, the most prominent being that the producers have somehow used footage from an outstanding tournament to produce what is really quite a drawn-out and tedious DVD. For a start it suffers from the twin blights of many recent football DVDs: sub-standard post-hoc commentary and a wearyingly large number of replays. Overall a good value for money collection (I'm saving the pre-natal pilates for when i need it) Rapid results and pilates segments are very good and make you work target areas straight away. Just note that Slim & Sleek pilates DOES NOT come with the resistance band! so I'm having to purchase one of those seperatley, would be better if came with the dvd as i believe if you purchase the slim & sleek dvd seperatley it comes with the band!
