Rugby League DVD's tend to be a mixed bag. Boots, balls and bellringers was toss. Super League Super Tries wasn't much better. However more recently there have been a couple of decent releases such as the two Great Britain behind the scenes efforts. This follows in a similar vein. Produced by the guys behind the Super League show, it is a classy production. Great selection of games, including some that you wouldn't have immediately thought about, as well as the obvious 'wide to west' and 31-30 games. The Paris Sheffield one in particular is a belter. I'm not going to say much here, as figure skating is not my thing. However, my mum really likes them, and so I bought her this set for her birthday. She absolutely loves it, and it even forced her to get over her phobia of technology and start using her DVD player! lol That has to be worth 5 stars in its own right!

This 06/07 season review is a must buy for any self-respecting loyal Man Utd fan. It's made superbly and is easy to navigate to the mathces you want to watch again and again(7-1 against Roma and the 6 pointers against Liverpool for me):) Ignore the negative reviews, they're just miserable people doing what they do best!

This DVD is poor, and also misleading. The cover shows Lennox Lewis defeating Michael Grant in a world title heavyweight clash. In truth there was only one Lennox knockdown featured and that was at a very early stage in his career. The footage here is mainly of British regional bouts, and nothing of big-names on the world stage, Britsh or otherwise. Generally one to probably avoid.

After watching Mr Motivator's fitness series on Channel Health called 'The Fitness Zone' I became a real fan. The majority of the 11 approx. 7-minute long sections on this DVD remind me a bit of the 'Fitness Zone'. The fact that you can mix-and-match the sections to create your own workout is really a plus. There are some nice warm-up sections in a dance aerobics style, and I also enjoy the sections on 'bums' and 'legs', which feature a good selection of muscle toning exercises for the legs and bum. There is also a good 'upper body conditioning' section on this DVD, which can be done with or without weights. However, I was quite disappointed with the 'tums' section. This is an excellent football tutor. My sons have trained and played Futbol de Salao for several years and this DVD covers all of the basic skills and moves taught. Simon Clifford clearly illustrates all of the techniques and skills, and includes plenty of clips from actual matches where great Brazillian players first used the skills.

I was really looking foward to this but sadly was very disappointed. I feel that the 1997 Living with Lions DVD really sets the bench mark for this type of sports documentary and i feel that Sweet Chariot 2 short changes us somewhat. On the positive side it was fascinating to see the chagning room footage of the SA tour and the army training. it was also a good insight to the team meetings. However, we should been given a greater insight into the players and coaches and got to know them better, apart from the decent featurette on David Strettle we barely get to see any of the players (unless you count the featurette on wilkinson who is probably the most uninteresting of the lot). Where are the characters? Where are the views of Moody, Faz, ... Read More:
