This is the behind the scenes story of Lewis Hamitlon and Anthony Davidson in their first year in F1. Unlike lots of the other Lewis DVDs you actually hear from the man and see the car in action. Plus the extra Murray and Eddie stuff you get is excellent. Maurice Hamilton is good too. Davidson is pretty outspoken about the other drivers. It's a great insight into the men in the cockpit.

After reading the other reviews I decided to buy this dvd for £2.99. Even at that price, this was a waste of my money and a waste of an hour of my life. Any "funny" clips on the DVD, I had seen before, and they werent even funny then. I found myself breathing a sigh of relief when the credits came at the end of this dvd and binned the dvd so that no one else need suffer. I'll be honest, I neither like or dislike ricky tomlinson but theres only so much mileage that he can get out of the "Jim Royal" character. I think I'd have liked this dvd slightly better if he had just narrated it instead of wearing various (too small) football tops. Many of the comments provided through these reviews focus on the absence of Justin from the base material. I fully agree with that but am not surprised by it - it is the way things are. That said for what are now relatively cheap prices at Amazon or on Marketplace this is worth a punt - won't lose much on Ebay if you later hate it anyway! Having bought some John Jacobs stuff in parallel you should be grateful this is a tad more modern in presentation and image quality. Underlying guidance is worthy and good for beginniers who should, as previously offered up in these reviews, in any evebt go and get some lessons from the outset. This is absolutely essential viewing. If you love football this gives new depth and you will have renewed respect for the beautiful game. Knowing the history of this game is a must and this boxset is the easiest way to find that history.

In the history of boxing film/documentaries 'Ricky Hatton A Life Story' could have been a loser. The brief outline on the back of the dvd does not bode well: family interviews, career achievements, fight details. Play the 1hour 47 minute film, however, and you will be left gasping. I have never been a fan of the 'Rocky' films and even Scorsese's 'Raging Bull' lingers on the personality too much. It was always 'When We Were Kings' that enthralled me with its differing perspectives closing-in on one particular fight. 'Ricky Hatton A Life Story' is a complete all rounder with insight, narrative progression, visual flair and intimate reality. A wonderful dvd. As a Man Utd fan, I'd heard about George Best but never seen any footage of him playing. All I knew was the world of Giggs, Ronaldo and so on. I'm really glad I ordered this because now I know what all the fuss was about. What a genius!
