I started watching NCIS midway through season 3. I really enjoyed it so decided to get the season 1 box set. I'm glad I did. It is filled with action, excellent storylines and a wonderful cast. I have heard people compare this to CSI, this is nothing like CSI, it stands on it's own and shouldn't be put together with other crime shows. Highly recommended.

I saw most of Long Way Down on TV when it aired and I loved it. I got the special edition dvd for Christmas and I'm still watching it 4 years later. I think that some of the comments of it not being a 'real' adventure can be justified but if you're expecting a documentary or exact life adventure then you're a little off the mark. It's a little bit documentary, little bit adventure and a whole lot human. Long Way Down has inspired me for the last 4 years and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like Motorbikes, travel, adventure, Ewan, Charley, or just even a good story - Long Way Down is the one for you.

This has got to be one of the worst Doctor Who stories I have watched for some time and had me questioning not just the story itself but why I am collecting Doctor Who at all. There is probably about 35 minutes of story stretched out into 4 x 25 minute episodes. I was waiting for it to end by the end of the second episode but we just had endless story progressions revolving around things like the characters moving back and forth between the sisterhood and the castle. The only thing worth watching here is Elisabeth Sladen.

I was sent to bed when the serie was shown in France in 1967, 10 years old at the time, but I amazingly remembered Kenneth More, Eric Porter and Nyree Dawn Porter faces. My mother was absolutly taken by the show and had no time for a kid. Just last year, in Oslo, I walked into a news stand and found a very cheap print of the book. I bought it...........and let it rest until this summer on my coffee table. I finally took it while on a 10 days hike in the austrian alps and couldn't let go of the book. Primarly because I realized the Forsyte, although english, were just like my family !! Very chilling, but yet, there are heaps of french Forsytes, have a read at Emile Zoal or Balzac !! The more I watch Phoenix nights the funnier it gets. A rare work of genius witha fantstic ensemble cast of ourtrageous characters. Though often grotesque, it never stops being warm and affectionate. If you've ever spent time in a Northern working mens club you'll realise just how close to life it actually is.

This whole series is fantastic, the thinking behind the minature killer is brilliant. The extras on the DVD give you a really interesting insight into how it is all made. The cliff hanger is fantastic, so much so I had to buy the Series 8 Part 1 the day it was released!

Now every now and again we get people saying what a great TV series they have seen and this was one of the ones I was asked to watch. Now sceptical as I was to think that a drama about a Manchester Family and its neighbours on the Chatsworth Estate and their exploits could be enjoyable but how wrong I was. The Gallagher Family and its neighbours are a real joy. Each episode picks on one member of the family (with the others interwoven) and it goes from better to better. I will ask that you at least give it three episodes to get to know the family and when you do you will be hooked. The basis of the family is Frank the father is a drop out of the first degree but is ever the philisopher, he spends his day drunk or stoned and often found behind the sofa ... Read More:

Blackadder has always been one of the funniest and best written British Sitcoms around and this forth and last series is one of the best from the shows run. The six episodes of the series all show-off the great script and the brilliant performances by both the main cast and the guest stars. All the cast seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves throughout the series but alongside Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson, my favourite has to be Stephen Fry for his brilliant portrayal of General Melchett. Each episode never ceases to be funny and the last episode of the series is still surprisingly touching despite the number of times that I have watched it. By season 10..SG1 was looking tired. The Ori storyline was uninteresting and they prove yet again in this last series that they are nowhere near as interesting as the gou'ld. The stories were looking lame and again not a patch on stuff from series 1-6. The last episode "unending" isnt all that great either and wasnt a great episode for this once great show to finish on. Its not all bad..its still reasonable in places but i'm glad they finally decided to cancel the show as 10 seasons is a lot and any show that goes that long struggles. Check out the first few seasons on dvd as they are the best.
