The wet bits with the animals are well filmed although some of the animals look like they are playing up to the camera at times. The underwater bits don't look real in places especially with the multicoloured tiny fizzers. Also the dolphins are singled out as something special like in most fish films, but they are just a fish! This is since Flipper set the benchmark of what to expect of a fish. The documentary would have scored higher if it left out the dolphins and made Dave say 'tuna' not 'tuna' as he pronounces it. He says 'tuna' as in 'tooner' where I say 'tuna' as in 'choona'. He's not American!

Forget the Wire, forget the Sopranos, forget the West Wing, all of which have been called 'the greatest TV show in history'. The true deserving winner of that mantel is Mad Men. Created and produced by one of the lead writers of the Sopranos (who incidentally was hired on the back of his spec script for Mad Men), the series unsurprisingly holds the same preoccupation of that show; mainly the seedy underside of the American dream. The true glory of this show is also what may put some viewers off. Everything which exists in the show is underplayed, every scene cariied in small moments which betray the truth of the individual characters. Everything in this show exists in sub-text. This review will be short and sweet. Most of what needs to be said already has been but for one question; Is Dharma real? We have found people in hatches pressing buttons and recording information because they have been told to in the style of Stanley Milgram but are we not doing the same? Don't get me wrong; I'm enjoying it immensely, but are we not being played with in Dharma fashion? The story leaps about with very few answers and yet we keep pressing the button (the play button on my DVD)because it seems the right thing to do. I'm convinced that Lost is produced by The Dharma Initiative.

This is a great boxset and is amazing value for money. Its action packed and hilarious and had me and my sister entertained for hours. It has three complete season and great special features including a hilarious gag real. Great buy.

This type of show does not come along often enough. Well written, superbly acted, fast paced, compelling and thought provoking. You are hooked after the first 5 minutes. It was late and my husband and I made the mistake of thinking we would only watch about 20 minutes of an episode. We were riveted to our chairs for the entire hour. I'm not even sure we blinked. To those having trouble hearing it, on the "Desktop" at the beginning, use your up, down, left or right remote keys and navigate over to the phone and hit Play. It will give you an option of stereo (2) or monaural (I think, the computer voice is hard to understand) (5). We found it easier to understand on (2) stereo. Then pick the episode you want to watch. I'm not one for hyperbole but I'd be hard pressed to think of a better sit com in the canon of British comedy. You heard me! Peep Show has earned its place on the vaunted Brit Com pedestal along with Fawlty Towers, Blackadder and Only Fools and Horses. Starring comedy duo David Mitchell and Robert Webb the premise of the program is that it is shot entirely in the first person (actors use hand held or even head mounted cameras while they act through their scenes) and we the audience are privvy not only to their points of view but to their thoughts as well. Father Ted is one of these things you can watch over and over again, and laugh each time. Whether your waiting at the airport, or just at home with a cup of coffee, it never fails to make you smile. Along with all 25 episodes, there are commentries from Graham Linehan (writer), Arthur Mathews (other writer) and Ardal O'Hanlon (Dougal). As well as that there is "Ted and Dougal Do Comic Relief", "Ted Fest 2007: A Very Ted Weekend and Two Tribes Go to War" "Interview with the Writers (Part 1 & 2)", "Dougal's Soundtrack" and "Comedy Connections" to name but a few. As for the actual comedy, you can't get much better. The swearing isn't vulgar and the gags are never cheap. For me, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were, are and always shall be, the quintessential Jeeves and Wooster! As English as Pimms and Cucumber sandwiches, this glorious P.G. Wodehouse creation lifts the veil on the altogether more carefree life in 1920's high society, ironically observed through the wit of one of our great writers. And who better to bring it to the screen than two of our greatest comic talents. Sadly, P.G. Wodehouse has suffered of late from the tight mouthed disapproval of Political Correctness. I wish that some people could just get over their left wing angst about "toffs" though, and see this for what it is - a wry and witty gallop through an entirely different era.
