You can try to compare Spooks to US series like 24 but for me Spooks is on a whole different level to 24. After a few short series 24 is starting to go stale with the same kind of plots being played out season after season. The explosions get bigger but the bottom line is still the same. Spooks on the other hand seems to go from strength to strength with every passing season. Yes there are only 10 episodes per season but that gives you some idea of the amount of thought that goes into every episode. I think the reason Spooks gets stronger with every episode is because it doesn't rely on the explosions and gun-battles that 24 does to make an impact. Spooks relies on it's storyline, some fantastic acting and so much realism that you actually ... Read More:

Bad acting, dull nonsense of a script, poorly paced and directed.
Anyone giving this pathetic excuse for a tv programme 5 stars must have a 1 star life.
Stop sitting indoors watching hour upon hour of this patronising rubbish and find some friends instead.
Preferably ones who don't like this bunk.

I've seen every episode of NCIS on DVD boxset. I first came to it on channel 5 when they were playing season 3 a couple of years back. Having enjoyed the first episode, I went and bought Season 1 & 2 on DVD, watched them and never looked back. Season 5 finished on FX a few weeks back (DVD boxset coming soon hopefully) and season 6 starts next year possibly March or April. This is a show for anyone as well as catering for those looking for something different to the normal police/detective dramas like Law and Order, CSI etc.

Yes, another new series, the 14th to be exact, but the makers have done it again. Still the best detective series on TV, this new offering is superbly enjoyable.

The actors have got older in real life as well as in the series and this is none the worse for that. Frost (David Jason) has mellowed a little, as he and George Toolan (John Lyons) begin to learn that the job is a little more dangerous than when they were younger. Frost even shows his long suffering boss Mullett (Bruce Alexander) a little respect, these days.

The show maintains its enjoyable feel good factor, as other old friends such as Ernie Trigg (Arthur White) are still based at Denton Police Station. So continue to enjoy the big hearted Jack Frost, the unconvetional policeman with ... Read More:

My 12-year-old daughter and me are addicted to the Gilmore Girls. We have seen the first six seasons without missing a single episode and we are eagerly awaiting the seventh. The relationship between mother and daughter makes you feel a warm glow. The grandparents are great fun as are all the other secondary characters. But best of all is Lorelai: sweet, independent and great as a mother and friend.... lousy as a daughter, though. You will love it. Be careful: it is seriously addictive.

With this series we are fresh off the regeneration from the previous Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston and now David Tennant has a lot to live up to; he does it and he does it with style. Billie Piper comes back as the magical Rose Tyler and we are given a series where she not only has to handle the notion of a different looking Doctor, but she has to handle the fact that she's falling in love with him and we're given hints that he's falling in love with Rose.

Episode 1: New Earth: In the year 5 Billion and 23 the Doctor takes Rose to the new home of the human race, simply called New Earth and he takes her to the aptly named New New York. There the Doctor meets up with an old friend the Face of Boe but he stumbles upon a secret in the hospital basement, who is lurking there ... Read More:

I agree with Potus. What makes OTH5 most interesting by far is the NAley story and Dan's second chance with Naley's son Jamie. That's why I kept watching tuning in weekly online, to see how the whole psycho nanny story would unwind. Don't want to give any soilers to anyone, so if you don't want to know anythign about season 6- pleade don't read on. But, the nany story continues, and we get the brilliant nanny debs back knocking out the psycho nanny, and then crazy/ forgiveable? Dan killing the psycho nanny in the end. But that episode had me on tentahooks! It was brilliant! A real Naley family dilemma. As for the rest of OTH- Skills is definietly not use enough- his storyline with debs is very interesting and funny- but could be developed more. I don't get why brook is in most episodes- especially ... Read More:
