I was a latecomer to 'House' but better late than never. Hugh Laurie plays the miserable yet brilliant Dr. House with some style. You almost forget he is a Brit. I have watched many hospital dramas - ER, St Elsewhere, Casualty, etc, as there is something uniquely engaging about the medical environment. Those series have been mainly dramas while House is something else. It's a part drama, part sit-com and part geeky medical show. The basic premise involves patients being admitted to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital with very mixed symptoms that complicate the medical diagnoses. i've loved the Jonathan creek series right from the beginning, Alan Davies plays such a good part, along with Caroline Quentin, they go together like bread and butter, the banter between them is so amusing, never quite getting together, this box set was a very good investment as i will have hours and hours of my fave viewing for years to come. the story lines have all been good, and i love the explanations at the end of each programme.

I thought these episodes were better than most of series 1 and 2, generally more interesting. Exception: The rock star child kidnap episode was truly dreadful. Rupert Penry-Jones as Adam Carter is ; in my opinion, better than Mat MacFadayen ever was.

If you enjoy a good Tv crime thriller wire in the blood is the one for you. Robson Green plays Tony Hill who is a criminal Psychiatrist who gets into the minds of people who kill and explains his theories why killers kill or abduct and how they would go about this and what their next move would be. He works alonside a female detective and between the two of them crack cases and bring criminals to justice. Very gripping and sometimes scary Scense and leaves you wanting more and more. Story lines are both intersting and gripping and the part Dr tony hill plays (Robson Greene) is very well scripted and enjoyable. So far it is the weakest season of Scrubs, I personally maintain that Scrubs was at it's funniest season 2 and season 5 probably with 4 shortly after. But here the writing got sloppy and the actors do begin to try to compensate, it doesn't work. Again though, as many others say there are enough funny moments to make this a worthwhile purchase, and I'm a huge Scrubs fan so will probbaly never stop watching it. On the bright side, Season 7 (as short as it was through the writers strike) is much much better, which gives me hope for Season 8, (not sure about 9, would the show be the same with the actors playing J.D. and Carla leaving?)

This is an excellent series with true BBC investigation and great contribution from experts and people that lived during the times that some of the programs refer to. It is definitely worthwhile buying and watching the whole series and it gives many hours of entertainment at a very good price. I actually think that buying the 3 series in one box is a great advantage and worth the extra money as you can not get enough of it.Great value! Please go ahead and buy all 3 and you will enjoy it for sure!!

series 1 started off everything(makes sense)but seriously if it weren't for the success of this series then the show wouldn't have survived...thanks to the amazing writers and crew behind it and some fab actors. eppy guide- Rose-4/5-the start...and what a great start it is too...Billie Piper CAN act as the great Rose Tyler and the Autons are very creepy. The end of the world-4/5-very good all round episode tht boasts some amazing visuals. the unquiet dead-4/5-very scary episode with some terrifying zombies...and the doctor meets Charles Dickens. Aliens of London-2/5-a decent episode but not fantastical...contains the infamous big ben crash scene...but not much else. I have just purchased this Box Set here in Dublin and am looking forward to getting stuck into this classic series. I previously had most of the eposides recorded on VHS from the 90's, they are going in the bin to be replaced with this very attractive box set. Very well packaged and presented this is a must for any Morse fan and is currently on sale at a very pleasing price compared too previous prices even a few months ago. All the 33 eposides are presented in this box set as well as 3 hours of factual documentaries. I just have to get a ''Do not Disturb'' sign for the next 30 odd hours. !!!!

Season 3 was by far the most entertaining and well-rounded season in the shows history (so far at least, with the 7th season forthcoming). This season captured and brought out in the best of ways all the little traits that make this show what it is. Almost all the episodes of this season can be described as "classics", from the amazing premiere to the fulfilling finale. Although it is hard to play favourites with this season, stand alone episodes include: -They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They? me and my sister went to see this in cinemas and i certainly enjoyed watching it.the simpsons have gotten better over the years with all their episodes and treehouse of horror shorts and this is the biggest hit of all.i laughed hard at some parts and it was a genius film.the graphics were good,the acting was superb and it featured some action in it.as a fan of the simpsons i am glad i saw this. its a great animated movie and adventure and its popularity has impressed too.futurama may be good but the problem is it dos,ent have futurama the movie in cinemas.the reason i gave this a five star rating is because of all the simpsons charecters and the great scene where it shows itchy and scratchy.i dont understand why some people have rated it 2,3 or 1 star.simpsons fans will ...
