I was extremely disappointed with this BBC adaptation of the Hardy classic. It was unrelentingly grim and despairing and I found the characterisation of Angel Clare very unconvincing. For a truly special portrayal of Tess of the D'urbervilles you should look no further than the 1998 television production starring Justine Waddell in the title role. It brings the 'Wessex' countryside of the 19th century to life in a way I have never seen before and it is a truly moving experience.

One tree hill is a fantastic TV show with basketball, relationships and it is full of surprises! You will love it at any age and it is impossible to stop watching...the only thing that stopped me was my own exhaustion!

I agree with Potus. What makes OTH5 most interesting by far is the NAley story and Dan's second chance with Naley's son Jamie. That's why I kept watching tuning in weekly online, to see how the whole psycho nanny story would unwind. Don't want to give any soilers to anyone, so if you don't want to know anythign about season 6- pleade don't read on. But, the nany story continues, and we get the brilliant nanny debs back knocking out the psycho nanny, and then crazy/ forgiveable? Dan killing the psycho nanny in the end. But that episode had me on tentahooks! It was brilliant! A real Naley family dilemma. Family Guy created by Seth MacFarlane is an animated television show which is based in the fictional town of Quahog. The show follows the Griffin family comprising of Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and their dog Brian. Not to forget a whole host of neighbours that live along side them on Spooner Street. I was very eager to watch the fifth season of Family Guy after the brilliant forth season (of which I've still to review, but I never seem to review anything in order these days.) But unfortunately I feel that this is the weakest link of the Family Guy Saga. They say things get better with age but perhaps this is Family Guys midlife crisis, where the episodes are simply not at their best. In the DVD set that I have, the disc with the face of Tom Quinn indicated as disc 1 is actually disc 2. Imagine my puzzlement when I was waiting to see how the cliffhanger from series 1 would be resolved. Of course, if you look at where the indicating arrow on the rack in the opening menu is pointing, you then know which episode you should be viewing. I am a fan of Spooks and have watched every series to date but like a number of other people, I find the DVD set up annoying. A brief guide to each episode or at least an episode title on the case sleeve would help. I have resorted to inserting written notes in the case !

I didn^t watch this when it was on Living t.v. But tried the box set because of the fantastic cheap price. I^m glad I did. A better choice than Kyle Schmid should of been made for the lead Vampire role. Someone slightly older and more charismatic would of been better. But otherwise it^s good entertaining viewing. The box set is good picture/sound quality. Shame there^s no extras at all. Would of been nice to see behind the scenes. The question is now: Will there be a season 2 out on DVD box set in the future.?

This DVD does actually contain all 4 Christmas and Hogmanay specials that weren't present on any of the series 1-6 DVD's. These are "Cold Turkey", "The Party", "Hootenanny" and "Plum Number". This isn't made very clear on the product information page unfortunately as it suggests just 2 episodes. Still Game is an absolutely wonderful show in my opinion. Despite watching every episode from series 1-6 more times than I'd care to mention, I still find myself enjoying them just as much, and still laughing out loud. This is a great wholesome comedy with a really likeable range of characters, and above all, has some very funny storylines and plots. although having 6 episodes shorter than the previous 2 seasons...it is more than made up in the sheer quality of the episodes. season 1 and 2 basically got the whole how set up and we all got the j hist of what was going on, the pace was fast yet it had never got the sheer spectacular standard that Buffy the Vampire Slayer set for all the shows in this genre. but Supernaturals' third outing is quite a remarkable one which can be extremely scary one moment and then utterly camp the next. this season has made me a dedicated fan...yes the first 2 need to be seen first but here is where everything kicks off. all 17 episodes are on top form. also contains 3 of the greatest episodes ever-A Very Supernatural Christmas,Just In Bello ans First blood...all three ... Who could not love One Tree Hill. We only starting watching it this year and we are absolutely hooked on it. We have Series 1,2,3, and just bought Series 4, half way through it and still the show is as great as ever. I cannot wait to see Series 5. One Tree Hill is blessed with great actors, great story lines, excellent music, and some really important issues raised in each series. I never really got into the OC...I think One Tree Hill is universal, and has more realistic people in it. Nathan is a hottie... Pouting Sexy Chad is a younger Brad, the girls are all beautiful, Brooke is stunningly beautiful and her bitchy lines are classics, Payton also beautiful..poor Payton she goes through alot but dont worry Payton at least your hair always looks great during the bad times!!! ...
