Having seen the first series and throughly enjoyed what is a very clever and slightly new twist to crime, i anticipated the second series would be just as good and i was not disapointed, the continuation of the final episode from series one is concluded in the first episode off s2 and this opens up all the characters feelings to a greater degree, we get to learn more about the backgrounds off this group of experts, storylines are well thought out although a little repetative, the inclusion of a new character later on is a welcome, one draw back is that the episodes are to short and you have to absorb a lot of action so quickly although i didnt mind that, main characters start to open up to the audience and some nice surprises are awaiting you,Not ... Season 9 of Frasier is arguably the weakest of the show so far. I give it only 3 stars, with a heavy heart, but I am judging it against the previous seasons, which have been generally outstanding. There are some very funny moments between Frasier and Niles but you get the feeling Frasier needs to move on. I enjoyed "Room Full of Heroes", "Bla-Z-Boy", "The Love You Fake" and "Cheerful Goodbyes" but there are no standout episodes of comic farce that would enter the hall-of-fame (like season 4's "Ham Radio" or season 5's "The Ski Lodge"). I caught the pilot episode of this drama some time ago and looked forward to the DVD release (i prefer to watch series at my own pace and convenience rather that week by week on TV). I certainly wasn't disappointed, Duchovney's character is writer 'Hank', an intelligent hard drinking cynic of life with a view on everything and everybody who cannot stop himself sharing it. In the battle to get his family back, beat writers block, survive the women of LA and their upset husbands he takes you on a unique ride. If you are a fan of excellent (often strong) dialogue, dark humour, and American TV at its best then this is a must watch!

To begin with, I would like to say that I started watching The Hills on MTV because there was nothing else to my interest being shown on other channels. However, watching one episode, turned into watching two, then watching the whole 4 hour marathon! Since then I've been an avid fan and have purchased both the first and second series (adding to my ever-growing DVD collection!). For anyone who was a fan of Laguna Beach, or fashion, or just likes to hear other people's lives and gossip, The Hills is definitely a must see series. The thing I liked most about the show, is that you don't have to watch it from the first episode to understand what is going on and the fact that the people featured are people who the viewers can relate to. i love this show ever since i just bought the first season on a whim. this is a great season as there is plenty of new faces to replace some of the old ones that have left. follows onj from where we left the gang in canada after shane leaving carmen at the alter and helena was cut off by her mother.

series 1 started off everything(makes sense)but seriously if it weren't for the success of this series then the show wouldn't have survived...thanks to the amazing writers and crew behind it and some fab actors. eppy guide- Rose-4/5-the start...and what a great start it is too...Billie Piper CAN act as the great Rose Tyler and the Autons are very creepy. The end of the world-4/5-very good all round episode tht boasts some amazing visuals. the unquiet dead-4/5-very scary episode with some terrifying zombies...and the doctor meets Charles Dickens. Aliens of London-2/5-a decent episode but not fantastical...contains the infamous big ben crash scene...but not much else.
