Riveting television, Spooks 6 is must see spy on spy action. Directors, writers and actors are all masters of the art of rising tension. Shifting alliances, plot reversals and twist upon twist, this is the best thriller series I've seen for a long time hands down. What I love about this show is just when you think you've got each episode pinned, bang, something comes along to turn your prediction on its head. Wonderful performances from the central cast as well, but one to watch of the 'drop ins' is Agni Scott who plays Ana Bakhshi the wife of the Iranian Ambassador. She is heartbreakingly good. Do yourself a favour and watch this.

My husband and I LOVE this series, but we were very surprised at the dull writing and boring pace of this mini movie. We had figured that, as the follow-up to the utterly hilarious and touching end to season two, this would continue in the same vain. Instead, my husband fell asleep and I found myself wanting to fast forward many scenes. The plot progression and new characters were strangely below par, and the recurring characters seemed to strain when delivering poorly written dialogue. The only exception I would make is "doctor's friend", who turns up to review complaints about the Doc's bedside manner. As tv series progress you expect them to get worse, i'm happy to say this is not the case for house season 4. Admittedly there are some episodes that are predictable, but still enjoyable. I think they leave you with many questions and situations to think about. The finale--- final 2 episodes were fanatstic-- and so sad. House MD is one of the best medical dramas to hit our screens, Hugh Laurie gives brillant performance, its no wonder he's been nominated and won various awards including the prestigious EMMY! P.S. The first few episodes of season 5 have just aired in US, episode 1 is a bit disappointing but episode 2 picks up.

Thought I'd have a quick peep when it dropped on my doormat, ended up watching all six episodes in the same day! Can't wait to watch the second series. A great series that thankfully doesn't fall into the obvious sit com scenarios that you think it's going to.

Only gets 1 star because that's how many times I laughed through all 3 series. "One of the few genuine british comedies" they said. After watching this rubbish, that statement is funnier than anything in this. Can't even begin to describe how bad this is. Was totally sucked in by all the good reviews. I must be on a completely different comedy level to the people who gave these reviews. I want my money back NOW!!

This is my favourite season of One Tree Hill for many reasons; 1. So many events critical to the storyline of the programme happen in this series. 2. A few new characters are introduced, and we get to know the existing ones even better. 3. This show is amazing! I really loved watching this series on DVD, and would definitely recommend it. There are six discs of episodes plus deleted scenes on every disc. The storyline for this series is extremely good; it kept me guessing and some parts definitely surprised me, but in a good way. I have been watching the fifth series of One Tree Hill on E4 for about 2months now, and though series 4 is still my favourite, I think that the fifth one will turn out to be great, too. I would ... This show is totally terrific. Based around supernatural powers - this show really does it very well. With one human with supernatural powers wanting more supernatural powers, its up to other humans with supernatural powers to stop this evil force and save the world from destruction. The story sounds like a RPG fantasy game or a story pulled from the Marvels Comics Universe, but honestly, the show is simply amazing and has so many twists and turns along the way to make you coming back for more. The special effects just keeps you wondering how these effects were put together - especially the power to freeze time, even during an explosion. First things first. Old school cylons. They're still CGI, sadly, but the appearance of the Centurions just reminds you how great that design is. And they say by your command, which is ace. There's a fab mid-air battle between a Centurion and a young Bill Adama, which also is ace. Okay, so what about the rest of the film. The story uses an officer who served on the Pegasus as its POV character, allowing the writers to flashback to when Admiral Cain was still alive and therefore give the excellent Michelle Forbes more work. The film gives some of the back story to how the Pegasus escaped the fate of the rest of the Battlestars and how they came to cage a No. 6 cylon. Absolutely brilliant adaptation and a great ensemble cast. I have to single out Eileen Atkins performance as the one which affected me most - the scene where she sits struggling with her ideas of convention as to whether she can attend the funeral in support of her friend is breathtakingly good - so much of what you understand is going on is not dialogue based but entirely down to her performance. More drama of this quality please.

I had never seen the original Battlestar Galactica and watched this mini series because it was cheap and I saw it had reasonable reviews. BSG is now my favorite TV show. The characters are complex and believable, the story is dark yet superbly told and the show combines stellar acting with some fantastic action sequences. As a whole the series manages to be compelling in many ways. The music and CGI are top notch and the wonderful cast add depth to every issue that gets raised and many are. This is no black and white story as it hinted at in the mini series and it is astounding how deep it all gets while never losing sight of the struggles of the amazingly well defined and diverse characters.
