I came late, but I am now an ardent Dibley disciple. Dawn French is delightful as the chocolate devouring, incurably romantic, caring and careworn Vicar. She attends to a tiny community of brilliantly barmy and quite certifiable characters, including her fabulously gerbel-brained verger Alice Tinker.

The scripts are crammed with deliciously fruity exchanges between the characters, showing off first-rate ensemble acting and many set pieces of virtuoso silliness. Particularly great is Roger Lloyd Pack, who glows with pungent pride as a farmer with better-left-unseen tendencies, and who develops an insatiable lust for Geraldine (the lovely lusty Vicar).

This entire series is a comedic marvel. So get the chocolate in and ... Read More:

Family guy started off as very good, but since season 4 it has gone very much down hill & this season now with more swearing, not really necessary, containing this is a new low, to me does not count as humour, there are some amusing moments, hence my 2 star rating, the Gene Kelly scene which was done very well cleverly, replacing Jerry the mouse with Stewie, but overall this cartoon, like The Simpsons, is running out of really funny, sarcastic, jokes, for what I would call toilet humour, which we are getting far too much of nowadays, & when you reach this you are finished. I will buy season 7, to see if it has improved, but only at a good price & I will not rush into buying it, but overall stick to seasons 1,2 & 3 for the best of this ... Read More:

Great animation, characterization, sound, and imagery rule in "101 Dalmations." It's action, excitement and love, but with a dark theme that's a bit scary.

My personal view of this is that Pan is an arrogant self obsessed oik ... but I'm pushing 30 so what would i know ?!!!
My son got it for his 3rd birthday and loves it and despite watching several times isn't bored of it.

This film has to be one of if not THE best Disney film there is. The story is great, the voices perfect, the songs brilliant! My favourite song from Aladdin is probably Friend Like Me but that's because I love Genie. However, all the songs are great in this film, there's none that you roll your eyes to because Disney have that great way of including a lovely slowie into a film but still having the humour there (like with A Whole New World).

Loved this film when I was little and chuffed now that my littl'un loves it too. Great fun for family viewing and still funny for adults!

Quite simply the best TV series ever made. Blows every other American and British TV dramas out of the water. Watch from season 1 through to 5 and be astounded and amazed at what heights TV drama can reach. From street corners to the corridors of power in Baltimore, stories are told in staggering detail. Excellent cast, fantastic characters. The Wire season 5 is just as good as seasons 1 - 4. The story ends, good guys don't always win, bad guys get away, so authentic in it's depiction is what makes it so good. No more seasons of the wire? In the words of Clay Davis "Shiiiiiiiiiit"

Let me state straight out that me and my missus like the original The Hulk movie. No, the cgi isn't wonderful and yes, it is a bit talky but it is still, essentially a good popcorn movie. The Incredible Hulk, however, is boring and so cliche-ridden that we almost turned off after half an hour (We couldn't even get our 15 year old to watch it because of the negative reviews his friends had given the film). The director obviously plays on his XBox too much and the film is, as with AVP, etc, etc basically a Video game, and a pretty naff one at that. The Hulk, himself, has undergone an "Upgrade" which shows off every sinue and tendon only to make him ugly (almost as ugly as the monster that Tim Roth becomes - oh and by the way, is the monster a brother of another monster ... I was so excited when the film came to DVD, having not had a chance to see it at the cinema. I pre-ordered it, sent the hubby out, put the baby to bed, and settled back to enjoy. But what a disappointment! Why aren't my favourite girls happy? Samantha miserable in LA, Miranda back to her cynical and stroppy worst, Carrie a materialistic drama queen, and Charlotte - did she even have a storyline? Even her pregnancy announcement was muted, after so long trying. It's like the writer couldn't think what to do with her character, as she was the only happy one, and the only memorable moment for her was pooing her pants! I don't think I would have bothered signing back up for that! And the bit with Big in the car as he leaves Carrie waiting to get married - the acting ... Read More:
