an authentic portrayal of the stasi spy system in Eastern Germany which prevailed before the collapse of the Berlin wall and which conscripted millions of its citizens to spy on each other and everyone else. an intimate poignant representation via the its central characters, the film needs to be slow in order to capture the oppressive mood, and what developes subsequently..... but it never feels laboured . remember that it is the director's first film which makes it even more significant.

The show is even better than I remembered, but beware of the extras, some of them contain spoilers, so save them for the end of each season.

When I first heard about this television series, I heard it was the next 'Lost' and that it would be the next phenomenon of the television world. Sadly, I didnt think it lived upto the hype and overall the first episodes were a dissapointment. Although I was very uninspired with 'Heroes' I continued to watch but wasnt too annoyed if I missed an episode. Towards the end of the first season I had developed a passing interest in the programe and I was bordering on actually enjoying it. Finally when the season finale' came ... I had to be in to watch it. Whilst I dont think its anywhere near as good as 'Lost' .... Heroes is still good .... to a certain degree. In the end I found that I liked it enough to look forward to the second season.

I would give this book a five star rating because narnia is absolutely brilliant.whenever I read it I cat put it down that is how good C.S Lewis is.Also ,the drawing's init are excellent.woul recamend this book to people who like adventure stoies.Thebook is fiction and I also love it because it is in a fantacy would but it seams real at the same time.

I got this film for christmas last year and, as a result i was pleasantly surprised at how different it was to all the other musicals. I first watched it as soon as i got it (for an hour); as it went on i thought how bored i was, i think this was because the story seemed to go on and on etc. I wasn't understanding at all what was happening; i realise that i am younger than most people that watch it ,but all my friends seemed to watch it and agree with my opinion of it. I am a big fan of musicals, however i am not a big fan of this one! Review by Chloe aged 11

The show itself is not that great, the girls can't really sing live and I can't understand why they really wanna sing Every Heartbeat with the endless (dis)harmony intro. It's really cringe-worthy but not as bad as the unplugged version on a B Side they did. Anyway, the design of the dvd is really top-notch. This is what the Tangled Up album should have looked like. The front, back, the great booklet, all fantastic pictures, design, colors, fonts....so why stick the album with such a ghastly look? Every screen of the menu has instrumentals of the album tracks and it makes you really wish they'd release these separately, you really get to appreciate the music that is the background for these great songs. This will surely be the total catalyst for Blu-Ray players to be sold when this superb set is converted to the HD format of Blu-Ray. Overall the movies and sound (real room shaking stuff on a decent surround sound system) even on DVD put anything else to shame.

So the first two series were great. The radio series was great. They had energy, origionality, verve, were set in a world outside of our own. They had an awkward hero in Howard Moon that we could all laugh at and yet root for. Characters like Bob Fossil, Charlie, Old Greg and Milky Joe populated a world that was rarely not funny, interesting or different. Series 3: Set in Camden, staring NOEL FEILDING!!!!!!!!.... oh yeah, and julien barrat... sort of. The bumbling hero is now the sidekick. all the old characters are re-run and the jokes are largely re-cycled, take crimping. A few mildly amusing moments, most of them involving howard moon 'its whats inside that counts' etc. I mean I never liked the 'noel fielding show'... i like the mighty boosh. and this is a joke. ... This is exactly what you would expect of a "Chipmunk" film. Lots of hilarious slapstick humour, silly, but predictable storyline, plus the enigmatic, if somewhat over-egged Chipmunk voices. Storyline, of this mixed real film and CGI, is basically of an aspiring songwriter, struggling to write any kind of song, which is where Alvin, Theodore and Simon come in. From there the hilarities start and the predictable plot unwinds. Not really for "adults", but for all kids everywhere, this is a great film. We put it on in the car for the kids whilst we were driving on holiday, and there was blissful peace from the back, apart from the regular bouts of laughter.
