A really superb collection of material that lets the music and the performances do the talking without being interrupted by interviews. The talking happens in between full-length clips. And you also have the option of playing just the footage. Brilliant picture quality. If you're a Buckley fan this is everything you could wish for - and a little more.

As Amazon edited my previous review this is just to say that DVD plays perfectly on my R2 player and my R2 laptop. Although the Amazon listing says it's R1, it's actually R0. Unfortunately the paragraph they edited out was the one that told you how to check this (probably mentioning other website addresses wasn't the thing to do!), but essentially on US websites, including the one operated by the band, the DVD is listed as R0. This was important to me as I delayed my purchase thinking it wouldn't play on my kit.

My older sister was Horslips CRAZY when I was a young teen, so I suppose I was predisposed not to like anything that she liked, but I always thought of them as chancers, acting out the rock lifestyle in imitation of the stars they saw in NME every week (much as I would have done, but I was 14). The music, whilst an original blend of rock and Irish trad, didn't send my pulses racing and in fact they seemed to ditch the "trad" later and went incredibly AOR, MOR and all those other horrible TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms). I mean, isn't "The Unfortunate Cup Of Tea" just the WORST album title you've ever heard? I blame Monty Python... HOWEVER....... ...this is possibly the best music DVD I have ever seen. Unanimously derided by the small-minded music media and universally adored by their fans and live audiences everywhere, the Levs have now been going strong for over 20 years (let's see if the Arctic Monkeys get that far). They may have never been "trendy", but once you've seen them live you're hooked. Their annual assault on Britain's festival scene is a highlight of any summer, regardless of the weather. They are, without peer, the best festival band....EVER!! I bought this DVD after seeing (for the umpteenth time) at the 2007 Trowbridge Village Pump, where they went down a storm with the most mixed audience I've ever seen. Onto the DVD....what can I say? Nice to see Neil back in acoustic mode!The bulk of the material is from "Silver and Gold"and he comes up with a few gems,the brilliant "Slowpoke"which isn't heard very often and also "Philadelphia" which is a nice surprise!One of the stand out tracks is "Long may you run"with Neil on organ and harmonica.I would say this DVD is on a par with the "Unplugged " concert,Neil at his brilliant best.If you like his milder,reflective side,this is for you!

Mariza is the fabulous exponent of the Portuguese Fado, bringing all the elements necessary; passion, saudades, power. This DVD really encapsulates why Mariza has been hailed as the new Princess of Fado (as Amalia is the Queen). The beautiful settings of the Union Chapel, and the superb choice of songs are wonderfully blended. I give it four stars simply for the reason that I'm not a big fan of 'O Deserto' and of the live performances of 'Barco Negro'! The other songs are fantastic, the evocative 'Aneis Do Meu Cabelo', the wonderfully upbeat and amusing 'Oica La O Senhor Vinho" and (as always) the monumentally powerful "Primavera".
