There are much worse films out there. The problem with this is that it is marketed as a zombie movie. However, the reality is that the film has the theme of possession. I'd complain more about the misleading nature of the advertising, but I only paid 32 pence! Can't really complain at that. The down side is that it can't share the same shelf of my prized zombie collection!

i dont care if this is a b movie or not, it genuinlly terrified me!!i couldnt get to sleep for ages after!!the acting may not be up to scratch (barbara is incrediably irritating sitting and not saying a work, you feel like smacking her)but the story, though old, always freaks me out and i think it will freak you out too!!!

DVD : Dawn of the Dead [2004] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
I love this film, it shouldn't really be compared to the original as it is it's own film and should be considered in that respect.
The first scenes of zombie action are amazing, they are quite shocking and just consider how you would react to witnessing this sort of thing going on!
I never get tired of watching this film and after seeing it several times on tv I finally got around to buying the dvd and was impressed with the extras included, if you are a fan there is plenty on there to keep things interesting.

It's a pity that others in the series such as Land of the Dead were such a terrible disappointment!

DVD : Horror Classics, Vol. 1: White Zombie (1932) [1933]
Hi welcome to my review of White Zombie - so here goes: I have seen this a few time before so I knew what to expect and I watched it in bed last night. This is the first ever zombie film made and its a good one which is oozing with gothic atmosphere, don't expect gore like the other zombie films of recent offer this is more of an expressionist horror film (like the silent horror films of the 1920's). There is more talking then action and there is one scene where is shows a zombie fall into a grinder, but with this being in the 1930's it didn't show you him getting killed like the recent films would.

This chilling tale features Bela Lugosi as the dark Voodoo prince, Murder Legendre, a supernatural force who holds his Haitian worshippers in ... Read More:

DVD : Day of the Dead [2007] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
OK, I like most hooror films that feature Zombies, even the RE are slick `popcorn and 6 pack' movies, which can be enjoyed.
I thought ther would be no harm at all giving this movie (although I use that term in it absolute generic term) a rent, after all, it's a remake of a classic mid 80's Romero flick, and I thouroughly enjoyed the Dawn of the Dead update (2004), and Steve Minor is at the helm, what could go wrong to stifle my enjoyment for 90 minutes or so?
Well, everything - this film has nothing whatsoever in common with the `classic' original (inverted commas because I always thought the third in the Dead trilogy was the weakest, and Romero never had the budget he needed to make it on a par with Dawn of the Dead)
The zombies in this movie can ... Read More:
