WD keep updating the outside of the box, but don't seem to have done anything about the fundamental problem which a lot of reviewers (including myself) have experienced: namely, after about 18 months you will get an I/O error, followed by clicks, followed by the disk being totally inaccessible. WD will provide a replacement, but all your data will be lost. This was a great storage solution until the day it died. As a permanent solution, experience has shown it to be unreliable.

Cheap printer. Bulky but for occasional use, this printer can handle the job. Printer speedy was quite fast. So far so good but I've only had it for a month. Scanning software that it comes with is easy to use.

Bought this item on line on Tuesday morning at about 2 a.m. It arrived on Wednesday at lunchtime. That's less than 36 hours from order to delivery. Couldn't really be much happier. Seems to work well too although not extensively tested yet.

this laptop didn't work. the screen kept going black and it also didn't realise that it was attached to a modem, meaning i couldn't go online. in many ways it put me in mind of a chocolate teapot. guess what, i sent it back and bought a MACBOOK. i will say this though, amazon are fantastic with returns - they sent a courier to pick it up from my house, making this the most effortless return i've ever made.

I know people prattle on about the price we, in the UK, get charged for stuff... but this is really taking the pee. Having not long returned back from the states, I wonder why we are being charged the same price in pounds as the US gets charged in dollars... is it because we are a race of people who don't like to complain. Do Epson just think they can just `mug us off' with these over inflated prices? Take a good long look Epson at how many compatible ink cartridges are on the market and how many people are buying them. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out we are being made fools of. Bought this from Amazon 3 weeks ago, found it easy to use, it's neat and small but would not work on other computers except those with Vista Home Premium, I contacted Freecom by email and found them very helpful and responsive, they said the problem would be solved by powering the Freecom with a mains lead and promptly sent me one free of charge, unfortunately this did not cure the problem so I can't upload anything on to other computers that don't have Vista Home Premium so I just use it as a back up for my files.

I kept getting multiple problems with sections of files (.avi) missing when copied to this drive. Very strange I thought as the disk is a highly reliable one from the "Barracuda" series. Conclusion is that the disk controller is not man enough for the job. Opened the case, removed the drive (it's a standard sata type), installed it in my pc and it's working perfectly. My advice is to buy an sata drive and install it in an ici-box or similar if you want an external hard drive.

I bought this for my wife to replace the old style iPod nano which she managed to destroy by dunking it in a glass of Vimto! Anyway, I digress...The sound quality is fantastic, the video playback is crisp and the earbud headphones supplied are really good quality and very comfortable. (I have bought some Sony ones to replace the crappy white ones that came with my iPod). I would thoroughly recommend this mp3 player

Well priced but the postage was ridiculous, it's a small bit of plastic not the camera it goes in!

I can't recommend this mouse highly enough. I've got a laptop running Vista and a 5G iMac and it works perfectly on both. In fact, I've stopped using my Apple mighty mouse at all. The build quality is superb, the USB dongle is impossibly small and slots neatly into the bottom of the mouse when not in use. It comes with a mini USB dock for computers with USB ports at the rear only. The added mouse functions are really useful, (back/forward buttons for faster Web navigation) and the mouse comes in a neat protective pouch. The whole package just oozes quality. I can't see myself ever wanting to use a different mouse. 5 out of 5.
