Great little USB mouse for a laptop. No problems with it and the retractable cable is very useful and easy to use.

This is an excellent mouse. It comes with a small USB receiver, that tucks into the underside of the mouse when not in use and automatically switches it off when you do so.

I can use it instantly when I plug in the receiver, there's no waiting at all.

It has a nice build and feels good in the hand. I've only ever bought cheap models in the past, so this is a massive improvement for me.

Highly recommended.

I can only assume that the set I received was faulty; if it wasn't then no one should be allowed to sell this thing. I have used Trust equipment before and been reasonably happy but never again. I installed this with no problem on an up-to-date PC and spent an hour trying to use it.

And failed! The mouse refused to staying working for more than two minutes before both it and the keyboard hung, necessitating resetting the dongle. Even during the brief respites when the thing worked, the mouse was wildly erratic and flung the pointer all over the screen when it wasn't sulkily freezing in one place.

All in all an unhappy experience: keyboard and mouse are the basic ways of using a computer and when they don't work, you're ... Read More:

Electronics : Blue Neon Mouse with PS/2 and USB Adapter

Worked well as a mouse once I had trimmed the plastic rim down on one side of the black platic top piece with a modelling knife to stop the left button sticking. Despite amazon description, my delivered mouse was USB connection only. No PS/2 adapter was supplied.

However occasionally wild leaping pointer all over screen only fixable
by disconnecteing an reconnecting USB lead was disconnected and reconnected to the PC. USB connection feels poor, I think its, well, cheap. Moved mouse from XP to Win98 via an (unsupplied) USB-PS2 adaptor machine and has worked there since.

Is a little small for optimal comfort but its certainly bright: blue lit with the optical red light also clearly visible; and it tracks well when it works. ... Read More:

Bought 2 of these mice, arrived next day, they look just like the picture and work well. I agree with the previous comment that the lack of extra buttons etc is a bonus. Packaging was also minimal, which was good. Can't go wrong for the price.

7.Logitech MX518 Optical Gaming Mouse July 06, 2008

Electronics : Logitech MX518 Optical Gaming Mouse

Although I ordered this mouse for gaming and home use, when the package arrived to the office I could not stand opening it and trying it immediately. It came via second class post, the packaging had a basic padded envelope, and the standard box of the mouse. It contained manuals, install CD and the mouse itself.

One of the first things I noticed was that the mouse has a really smooth run, thanks to the completely smooth plastic things on the bottom-front and bottom-end of this rat. The grab is comfortable, and big enough for my hand to sit comfortably. Its a real comfort after the slightly undersized mouse I had to use.

The middle button has a bit surprisingly strong resistance, but apart from that the feel is great.

Bought this as a replacement for my scroll wheel mouse.

I like the basic uncomplicated design, the mouse is lightweight and plugs into USB bought which means you need a free USB port but reduces the reliance on batteries.

All in all I am pleased with the purchase - first proper use is today but it has worked liked I hoped.

I bought this product to replace my Logitech keyboard and mouse, which was starting to get a bit grubby, but was still going strong!
I thought with Microsoft i was buying a reliable and long lasting product. My mistake. I will say that yes the installation was easy, but that is no good to me now 3 months on with a broken mouse.
My mouse has all of a sudden given up. And i find at times the keyboard doesnt react with the computer and i have to press the keys again to get a reaction.
Again, i am very disappointed considering this is a Microsoft product. I certainly wont be buying from them again.

I got this mouse for my laptop because my touch pad kept on freezing.
And I have to say it's not something i am going to regret anytime soon.
It's quite, the roller is not stiff, you don't need to shove it. It's a very attractive well designed mouse.

Overall 5/5
