Really solidly build, with the normal U3 startup / program management system. Personally I like U3, but it's easy to remove if you don't (or prefer an alternative like "Portable Apps"). I did find that on one occasion when I pulled it out after the PC had hung that it had completely corrupted...a nasty state of affairs that required me to buy data recovery software (the software is very expensive, despite being from the manufacturer!!). It could be that this is down to Vista , but at least you would expect free recovery software - it never happened on my 2GB U3 Kingston in over 3 years! I could have just reformatted for free of course - but it was vital data: I should have kept a backup! Still, a good sound product, ... Read More:

This is a great memory stick. When I opened mine I was surprised how small it was and yet it felt quite solid. It's sheathed in clear plastic as a protective cover which can be slid off to reveal the device's very tiny size - is there really 8gb in there?!?!?! Fanatastic! I thought at first glance 'Oh, it would have been nice to have had some kind of LED activity indicator' and went ahead and plugged it into my machine. Lo and behold the keyring loop area of the device lit-up! Nice. The unit flashes red to indicate activity and gently brightens and dims to indicate no data being transfered. It might annoy some people after a while I guess but I thought it was a cool touch. See how I feel after a few hours. A quick test ... Read More:

This is really tiny by most standards but dead easy to use. It does everything you expect it to and is excellent value for money.

Excellent Product- The pre-loaded software is quite useful as it contains a reasonable level of security i.e. Encryption. It has a back-up feature which can come in handy in case it is lost or stolen. The sleek design is quite attractive and the metal casing ensures it does not break during everyday rough use. Mine has had a few knocks and bumps before and is still in perfect condition. The way it slides under its case is impressive as there is no need to have a cap (one less thing to worry about when your out and about-transporting data). (Overall a sound product, in future they could improve security by having a finger-print scanner, on the outer case, to unlock the USB device as this is a very popular feature nowadays.)

I'm useless at looking after things. I have had numerous flash drives and broken them all. This I heard was very strong and can withstand 2000lbs of weight. Quite impressive as a statistic, but it can with stand being dropped quite easily without even looking like it will break. The usb part is retractable, so is even more protected. It is a fantastic device made by sandisk, very reliable, but even more, very well priced :D

It's a flash drive. Sturdy and durable is the intention and this doesn't fail. It looks cool, it feels cool and it works. I bought two! Not a lot else to say here. Thumbs up.

I bought this because I needed to bring my order value up to £15 in order to get free shipping and have been borrowing a friends USB flash drive for some time now. Received it in good packaging - opened it, plugged it in, deleted the software that comes on it (Manual etc...) and away I went. I realise it's just a USB flash drive but it's a small, smart one with a good feel to it (at a good price!). The cap clicks on to the end and doesn't feel like it's going to fall off at any point. I tried it on 3 machines and they all picked it up with no problems.
