This is the one to buy. I bought this one as it had good reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I opened the package, put my sd memory card in, pluged it into my computer and the photo's also video's were there in seconds. I was a bit worried because I have an old ricoh camera and a Microsoft vista on the computer but there was no problem. It is so easy your Grandma could use it, If she knows what a computer is! ......... You can't buy better than Scandisk, there are cheaper ones, but, are they reliable? Why not pay that little bit more and get peace of mind!

What more can you say, except it does what it was born to do... stores 2 gigs worth of yer snaps. Slowly. But then, that's the nature of XD. If you need to push yer pics in quicker, you'll be wanting to invest in Compact Flash or the like. Couldn't find this cheaper on the high street, even taking postage into account, so I'm well chuffed.

This is a superb little device. I use different digital cameras, and with this I don't need to install any software for any camera, I just stick the card in the reader, and it's instantly visible on my PC as a disk drive. The device is very fast, and very cheap. Who could ask for more?

The card works fine in my Canon EOS 1000D. Fast enough to stop the buffer filling up. Only gripe is that you dont get the card reader as shown in the picture by Amazon.

I specifically wanted a 16GB card to go with my Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder. In my opinion, there's not much point going for anything smaller if you want to shoot in full HD - this card is good for 2 hours' recording at the highest quality HD and 4 hours at "normal" HD. Having used it quite regularly for about five weeks so far, the card seems to be of good quality - I regularly remove and replace the card, and there's no sign of wear and tear on the contacts, as you would expect. Having the USB reader is a very useful bonus. I already own one of those multi-card USB readers, so I didn't strictly need this as such, but because it is a dedicated SD-only reader it is obviously much smaller and slots easily into my camera bag. ... Needed a card reader to transfer images to an Sd card for viewing on my Wii.I took a gamble with this one as appossed to the more expensive Belkin product.The reason being that a reviewer stated they had problems with data transfer to larger memory cards, i.e.(1 or 2gigs). I've experienced no such problems and no overheating worries either. By the way,its 31p, or was, but the P&P alone is a fiver.

good card reader - arrived next day excellent service. only thing is it won't read a microSD card which is inserted into a SD convertor but otherwise good piece of kit

I've owned this Sandisk MicroSD 2GB with 3-in-one adaptor for a few months now, and it makes such a difference to my phone! I've only tried one of the adaptors (the larger one that slots into the SD card slot of my laptop) and it works perfectly every time i.e. plug-and-play so it loads up as an extra 'drive' in 'My computer'. I've not had any problems with the card and did not need to format it before I used it. p/s: I did pay more for the postage than the actual item itself, but the item is worth it and deserves 5 star!
